Austin has some really high notes and I loved Chance coming in at the end in repetition, it is such a sweet original song. If I were Santa, that's where I'd want to be too!
Actually, the credit for this song goes to Jack Stratton and Theo Katzman of the band Vulfpeck. You should check out the original if you get the chance.
It's a Vulfpeck's song, Vulfpeck is the funkiest band , you have to react to their music, for example 1612 or Back Pocket or Aunt Leslie...they are really groovy! And I was so happy when I saw that Home Free would cover Christmas in L.A., combining 2 of my favourite bands , like a dream come true!
It's not an original, it was originally done by a group called Vulfpeck, that all of the Home Free guys are fans of, but I'd certainly never heard it before, and I think they'll bring it to a whole new audience. What is there to say - fun, funky, it's such a cool tune, and they do such a wonderful job with it. I'm thrilled to hear you are planning on covering the whole album - it has so many great songs, including two more originals from Tim (as well as What We Need Is Love) and two from Austin.
This is such a fun song....I've never heard the original...so for me this is the original! Can't wait for your reactions on the rest of the album! They are all awesome!
You said it all Brad. The more I hear this, the more I like it. So much fun and groovy! It’s got great chords like you said and is so upbeat. Loved your reaction!
@@babyfry4775 I didn’t think he sounded like Michael, but the style and arrangement had a sound similar to the Jackson 5 from the early to mid 1970’s. 😉
If you really liked this version, you should react to the original Christmas in L.A. by Vulfpeck! It's so funky and low-volume! Scratch that, you *NEED* to react to the original by Vulfpeck!!!

I love how they bring Chance in at the end there since he does live in L.A. It just makes the song! Thanks! ^_^
It’s originally by a group called vulfpec, they are also an amazing funky group!
the original song is by a group known as Vulfpeck. Definitely check out some their music on the channel. It's great.
oh yes!

This song is giving me old skool Motown vibes, I love it!
that's the magic of Vukfpeck!
Yep! It’s funky, catchy, and fun!! It makes me happy!! Loved your reaction, Brad!! Looking forward to Christmas music!!
That was awesome! Another great Christmas song they do is "Angels We Have Heard on High". It's absolutely magical!
Love you and Home Free and your tree!❤
My favorites from Home Free's Christmas album are What Christmas Means to Me and Cold Hard Cash. Can't wait to hear your reactions to those!

This one just makes me so happy! Definitely funky!
A Christmas bop! I love it!
This song was originally done by Jack Stratton back in 2015
Would love to hear you review Austin's new songs which he wrote - Earn It and Off the Grid. Thank you!
Brad I love this too, it's a real funk style, you nailed it.
Kinda of a Jackson 5 sound..love it.
That is the first thing I thought!! I love it, too!! I even made my hubby listen and asked if he thought that and he agreed!! ☺️
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Austin sounded a little like Michael Jackson there for a few notes. Fun!

the original song actually featured the guitarist who played on all of the jackson 5/motown records!
WOW! Funky Adam!
Can't wait for your reactions to the Warmest Winter cd.
Love it!! So much fun!!!
The arrangement reminds me of a cross between The BeGees and The Beach Boys.
Adam shined in this one I thought

It’s an original written by Austin
Nope. It's an original written by Jack Stratton and Theo Katzman from the band Vulfpeck.
My mistake
Austin co-wrote Cold Hard Cash and the title track, Warmest Winter.
I’m sorry, I don’t care about LA and did not like the song because of it.
