Nubia Ancient Kingdoms of Africa is an art history book by Geoff Emberling. This was put together in support of an art exhibition held at the Study of the Ancient World at New York University. There are a variety of objects presented here, from statues to jewelry, from wall paintings to smaller sculptures.

Fascinating look at one of the great centres of African civilisation. They were literate too, but it's frustrating because their ancient language has died out and so while we can read their texts, we cannot understand them.
