The store that was attacked used to be an "OBI" store. I think OBI (a German retailer) sold it to someone else, but it is still a "construction center" which in the US we call a "home center". I haven't been back to Kharkiv since just before the war began.
The store is the equivalent of a "Home Depot" in the US and was about the same size. And just about as busy on a Saturday as a Home Depot in the US.
It is located in a development of other shopping stores including a "Caravan" mall. It is not far from where my wife and I have an apartment in Kharkiv.
This is a straight up terror attack.
It's now called "Epicenter".
When Russia, at the beginning of the war, destroyed a shopping center in Kiev with Iskander, everyone gathered and gave statements to journalists that it was a terrorist attack and an attack on civilians until Russia released the video with bpl, how Ukraine hides mlrs systems in the shopping center building!
Anna calls it a "Hyperstore." I call it the place to look for parts with no help from customer service because that's too fine a problem for them. Hey, not everybody knows every bolt in the store.

Sounds like Ukraine needs to follow Secretary Blinkens admonition to use its own judgment in its own defense
He's said it over and over again. I think he's made himself perfectly clear - in diplomatic language. I dont' understand why some continue to complain about it. The USA has for over a hundred years of great power had to be "rather more cryptic" about its intentions and permission than other countries have to be. Read the runes and tea leaves, Ukraine.

Israel constantly ignores the stated 'wishes' of the USA, the UN and now the ICC, and still continues its actions against Palestine with impunity. Zelenskyy needs to read between the red lines and do what is best for Ukraine. I doubt if the USA will suddenly side with Russia and stop supplying Ukraine with weapons. After all, this is an economic windfall for the USA's MIC and their shareholders, many of whom are also politicians.
Sadly Blinken is not the one in power.
And by the way, what's said publicly has 0 importance.
What is said behind the curtains matters, and so far it's been negative as Zelensky complained.

South korea already contribute a lot to ukraine. Actually most of 155mm munition flow into Ukraine from South Korea but indirect way. But i think they could do more for ukraine. For example they might be allow NATO nations to let freely operate their Korean made war machine inside Ukraine. And it sound almost impossible but they could supply some of their own advanced KM-SAM system batteries to Ukraine directly. It make some sense cause North korea already sent their SRBM to warzone to testing their missle. So this could be a great opportunity to south korean to check their homegrown SAM system capabilities against north korean / russian ballistic missiles.
My favorite sayings of yours "in the short term perspective" and "no any movements" here we would say perhaps "in the next few days" or "in the immediate future" and "there has been no movement" or "no observable movement".
