Randomly clicked on this while trying to find music to listen to while making bread and chicken noodle soup. I couldn't stop dancing and twirling around my kitchen! Also couldn't help imagining myself as a medieval peasant while chopping carrots and kneading dough. Excellent playlist! I think it will also come in handy when writing those cheerful party scenes for my fantasy series :)

I do this too! I have a boring-ish life as a stay-at-home mom and life can get very mundane... I play medieval fantasy tavern music while I do chores and I let my imagination transport me to a tavern, where I'm the keeper 😁

But medieval-fantasy worlds sound a hell lot more fun
While it's nice to imagine, it was not really nice to live in some parts. Especially if you were a woman.

It's such a shame the modern world rarely looks like this anymore. I live in the city, been born and raised in it. And I dream of travelling to places like this. To travel from the villages to castles. To go on heroic quests and make friends along the way. The more I think about it the more sad I feel. The city is such a lonely place. Everyone focused on their work and home both in compact tall buildings, streets roaming with the drunken homeless and violence. The sense of community is long gone here. It's how i've always lived so I can't fathom peoples lives from small local towns/offgrid. Here's to hoping i'll get to, maybe even next year.

No because I feel exactly this. I wish I could live in a little quaint village with cabins and wooden homes, a community, a connection to nature and to each other that we dont get anymore, and the fact that I most likely will never experience that is soul crushing. The idea of living in a small and loving town and not having to focus and work and stress all the time is literally everything I could ever want.
Sameeeee... I want to get close to nature as much as possible... Because I really don't think I've made to fit with today's world and what you've explained is extremely true, but maybe we'll to live like this let's hope for best guys ❤🌼
As nice as it sounds, reality never matches. I used to live in a city near Los Angeles, I remember thinking exactly the same thing before my family moved when I was just starting high school. Little town in rural north idaho. Beautiful area, but there's no community here. At least not the kind you're thinking of. Just a lot of sad stories and unseen potential really

What if we are one of those who arent able to go to the palace or have friends? What if you dont have friends,adventure in the village.what if you dont get to experience the fun part and are stuck there with only no electricity,no washing machine etc,no adventure,no friends.

The title of this video got me thinking that I'd really like an open world game wherein you just play a regular person. Or rather, a regular life. No saving the world, no chasing dragons. Just you living your best life, as best you can, in some beautiful mundane fantasy world.
It will be nice to have such game with every villager being a player. Make friends, travel, have fun

@@yashhengne3056 exactlyyyy its just like facebook or instagram but in a game.like all villagers are players and there arent any npcs( non playable characters) you can talk to anyone and make friends and live a life in the game.i wish hogwarts legacy had this feature

I was writing part of my book when "Where No One Goes" came on. As two of my main characters are dragons with human forms, I couldn't help but imagine them taking a flight race over a grassy meadow with to release some stress on their journey. I almost cried as it brought back so much nostalgia. Great playlist, I use this with other playlists to give me setting ideas for my book.

i love these sort of medieval vibes SO MUCH, and this playlist is perfect for it. the oh hellos are my favorite artist and their songs all evoke that archaic mood. the "where no one goes" cover makes me think of how to train your dragon, my favorite movie franchise + the fictional world i would most love to live in. strawberry blond is one of my favorite mitski songs. the parting glass is such a wonderful folk song. and in general just the whole playlist is wonderful :DD

But I think to myself, "Impossible, for I've not been here long."
But as the first verse started to be sung, I recognized it. I smiled in befuddlement. I turn to my companions, who had started to sing along.
I spoke to them with a smile, "Did you know this song was about Jesus?"
One of them had furrowed brows, and asked in confusion, "Who?"

Woah, I haven't heard any irish music of any kind on these sort of playlists before, it's really cool when I do get to see proper irish though! Being that I am 100% irish myself, but I can immediatly tell that "Ni Na La" is an irish song, I'm not fluent, but I can make out the words "Siopa ( shu-pa )" and "Maidin ( Maw-gin )" which mean shop or market and morning, I just thought it was kinda cool :]

May was skipping throughout the village, she saw the upbeat vibe it gives and went to buy some fruit for her sister from one of those cute little fruit and vegetables shop. May saw little kids playing hopscotch in the middle of the village. She joined it and they had a great time, May was on a Quest so she had to leave the village but before she said goodbye for a while she made sure to say goodbye to her mother. “Goodbye mom” May said giving her mom a big bear huge “I love you” Her mom said giving her a kiss on the forehead. May ran to the hills her Quest was just beginning! May thought of all peaceful places she would find all the battles she would face. But it was nothing compared to the love she had for her village.
