The Penn relays was awesome, was so proud to see Jamaica show up and show out. I was at the gym listening to some Americans discussing track n field during the time when Usain Bolt was running and winning every race, they were saying Jamaican athletes are on drugs and that’s why they are so fast. As a. Former athletes I was so mad and had to fight hard to control myself. I started running in Kindergarten and continue all the way up to high school, and we were very serious about track n field. So, can you imagine if we got the opportunity that our athletes are now getting.. love our athletes and will always support them. ❤️
I find that a lot of the tourism trade is foreign owned and run they are not paying equivalent to the work. The hotels have training programs where you don’t get paid they provide transportation and meals and when the training is complete they tend to not hire they go back to the trade schools to get new graduates so they don’t have to pay salaries
I love your channel. Jamaicans living in Jamaica are taught that if you want to succeed you have to leave the country. If that is your mindset you never see the benefit of your country. You don't even see the value of buying Jamaican. Trade school is needed so you can grow your Middle Class but what happens is foreign countries recruit all Jamaicans skilled workers, so you have to go to places like Cuba for workers.
