I was so very impressed with your presentation! You made everything so clear, each step step was explained so clearly so that the newest wire wrapper could understand: 1. You explained that the wire has a kind of it’s own 2. Said things such as, “At this point you will notice the wire is getting a little harder.” 3. Reassured students that it was okay fit it didn’t look right at that point. And many other things that a seasoned wire wrapped would even think about, without going into long boring detail. And you did it all in a very pleasant manner! Just saying it was very well done! Keep up the good work TEACHER!❤
Thank you so much. I just made a spider with you and love it! I loved the detailed tutorial, the reminders to be patient and work with the wire, not against it.
I have 21 grandkids. For xmas I made little boxes like Chinese take out put a bunch of hand made jewelry in them. I had some of these spiders. So much fun to make. 2 of the girls tracked me down grandma would u please make us some more jewelry. So sweet and I'm just learning ❤
I have to say this is so far the best tutorial l have EVER seen..so easy to follow. If you know how to do the viking knot a tutorial step by step would be fantastic.😊😊😊
Love it !! Great video. The best one I've seen on making a spider. Can't wait to make some. Im even gonna do some small ones for earrings!! Just in time for the Halloween season. Thanks for sharing yr simple technique.
This was a great tutorial. I followed along with you, only I used larger beads. This was my first attempt at wire wrapping. Needles to say my spider looks like he's missing leg segments. 😂 Next time, I'll either use the same size beads or a longer wire. I think it turned out pretty good overall, thanks to your detailed video. Thank you!
Haha don't worry, that happened to me the first time too! By the time I got to the back legs, they were teeny tiny 😂 I'm so happy you enjoyed it though! ❤️
Guy's I made it and her some tips Use 0.6 size wire I used the minimum, which is 5, and it was weak and twisted a lot Be careful for the legs and end part The video was great
I can't remember off the top of my head but this info can be found in the description below the video, also the materials are mentioned in the beginning of the tutorial. 💜
My problem is I don't know sizes of my wires or how to order it or beads. I always get the wrong size especially on beads they r all like seed bead size holes.
If you order from eBay usually they have the sizes. So the body is about 8 mm and the head 4-5mm. And with the wire, I write the size in permanent marker so I always know the size. And the most sizes you use is 18 gauge, 20 gauge and then 22,24 and 28 gauge.
Craft wire should be available at your local craft store, or you can just do a quick google search for copper craft wire! For plated/colored wire, I tend to use Artistic Wire. For beads, there's Fire Mountain Gems back in the USA, or you can usually find deals on Ebay or Etsy like someone else mentioned. For bulk copper/silver wire, Rio Grande is my go-to site for all professional quality jewelry supplies! 💙
I have an electronic calipers it was real cheap and instantly measures even the thinnest wires and beads accurately. I find the holes thru beads are mostly 1mm.
1.1mm is very thick wire so it will be really hard to work with. I would recommend picking up some smaller gauges. You can check my recent video on wire wrapping tools to see what I recommend!
Thank you so much!!!!!! Your a great teacher!!!! I made one and was so happy!!! 🌹
Yay! Thank you so much!!

Hi i dont find the black pearls where did you bought them ?
These are obsidian beads and they're easiest to find in your area with a quick google search ☺️
Thank you so much. I’ve been really unmotivated with my wire wrapping of lately. Now I’ve found something that has inspired me. 🥰🥰
I've been there so many times! I'm so happy to hear that you're out of your creative rut and I hope your lil spider turned out great! 💙
Guy's I made it and her some tips
Use 0.6 size wire I used the minimum, which is 5, and it was weak and twisted a lot

How much wire for this?
She said 30 inches.
Off the top of my head, I think I used 30" but you can find all the materials in the info and also stated in the beginning of the video 💙
Pull the wire in backward ..as you wrap ..
Thank you so much for sharing! 💙
I only have 1,1 mm wire but I am a beginner
