For some reason, I thought this was going to be a guide for DMs on how to hunt down and punish their wild murderhobo players. But this was really good, I like your point about a Bat-type actually being a good way to bring in a newbie roleplayer who wants to wade into the pool at their own pace.
I appreciate hearing that, especially with the news today (RIP Kevin Conroy...). Although, considering even you mistook this as a guide TARGETING edelords tells me I really should finally rename this one.
I am so happy to hear that! This video is one of my favorites, and I was kinda bummed when people wrote it off without giving it a shot. It’s great knowing it helped at least one person out. Thanks again.
I happen to be playing Pillars of Eternity 2 with a batman based character. Tactician-trickster who is at a disadvantage solo but can still handle himself. Main offense being the consumables I stockpile to simulate his utility belt full of gadgets for any situation. Pretty difficult early game but gets better with progression.
Right on, man! If you think about it, your early struggles are not too far off from Bruce’s own issues building his kit during Year One. I can only imagine all the fun play moments you got to live out. I mean, I assume the game doesn’t have a Bat-Shark Repellent equivalent. BUT getting to realize, “OH, I need to grab this ability or this gear for next time,” is very much inline with Bats own planning. Love it.
@@TheEndKing it was alright, but my obsession with struggling through games made me stop and start a new character on Triple Crown. Currently testing a character based on Alucard from Hellsing. Dual wield pistols with spells and skills that mimic Alucard. The hardest thing to mimic would be his final form The Bird of Hermes since it's basically mass summoning. Best I could do would be filling my quick slots with summoning totems and equipment like the dragon pendant.
