As a Peach main, I’d say the best thing about Peach is that she probably has the most tools to adapt to any situation, both in terms of other characters’ kits and players’ style. She can always switch things up thanks to float.
But yeah, mentally taxing.
I recall mute talking about that aspect of her. I think he said something along the lines of “peach has 50 answers to 50 questions, but other top tiers have 1 answer to 50 questions”

Peach is such a good character to have as a top tier. She’s highly technical and difficult, but you are rewarded with a broken character. This reward system is so healthy for a a game imo

Other than that, yeah the reward system is good.
Orher nerfs : tunip lag and side B (Peach bomber) "less" safe on shield (This move is still super safe on shield, it give you an idea on how much it used to be nearly absolutly unpunisable before).
I really miss pre patch 3 Peach, when fair killed at around 90 % at ledge ...

one item specific thing you didnt mention for peach’s interactions with items is that she can hold an item and do aerials while floating but she can also choose to aerial throw by just not floating, something literally no one else can do iirc
The best thing about Peach/Daisy is that she can do well in many "at first sight" unfavorable mus" cause float allows you to play around many chars strong options.
Also once you have the lead, she can defensively and many characters can struggle to approach her, making even her worst mus more doable.
Finally someone talking about how difficult she is. Maybe i'm wrong but I feel like most people forget about that part when talking about her

peach is definitely my favorite to watch, NOT play against. But watching her break, and re-mend the match to favor her is so so enjoyable to spectate.

Honestly, for the common player, you’re going to have a hard time. I’ve been trying hard to pick her up and learning her straight up sucks, and that’s after getting every other character into Elite Smash and beyond.
I main peach and I think it's because she doesn't play ultimate. Once you get used to having float, every other character feels so committal to just jump with and therefore uninteresting. I'm definitely not anywhere near top level so I do struggle many times against zoners and will complain about match up but I know it's me, not Peach.
This is what happens when you let Peach be her own character and not the damsel in distress

Lucina kinda just sucks in the current meta tbh. Having no x-factor while being super simplistic isn't doing her any favors imo
@@Eggss_B this is why Marth stocks will go up, imho. He has the X-factor while still having the frame data and the frame 1 combo breaker. He may not be as "consistent" right now, but when players learn how to actually play him, people will see how good he is.
I'm glad we have an active Marth UA-camr doing stuff with the character.

I think your impression might be skewed a bit because Pikachu is one of the few characters light enough to where Peach can actually KO them at a reasonable percentage. Unless Peach is getting early off stage kills or hard up smash reads, she is constantly eating high rage attacks from faster characters with more knockback.
This character is incredibly hard to learn and she suffers massively online, especially against the most popular characters (DLC, Cloud, ROB, Snake). They have no new breakout reps this installment (Mute, Umeki, Ling were all Smash 4 top players as well) and are consistently among the least popular characters on Smashmate. It is gradually becoming clearer that online is crucial for improvement in Ult but this character practically requires you to have a strong offline practice environment. It's also worth mentioning that she struggles very hard with characters that don't appear very frequently in top level tournament settings, like Shulk, Sora, Terry, and even Banjo. It's safe to assume that the strongest handful of users will continue to have relative success with her but the rest of us are likely to be left in the dust as more people grow more skilled with characters who are easier to pilot and KO more reliably.
She doesn't struggle vs Banjo. Mute just got mu checked.
@@Eggss_B You can check the data on Pheasant for yourself. Banjo is in "Slight disadvantage" for Peach/Daisy alongside many less-surprising characters.
In addition to generous KO power vs Paisy and a number of strong anti-aerials including a 360-degree spinning nair, Banjo also has the 30 frame ledge roll intangibility that is exclusive to DLC which helps negate one of Paisy's main strengths. If you're a Paisy player and you don't struggle with Banjo, you aren't playing good Banjos.

Banjo obviously has his strengths in the matchup, but by NO MEANS does he straight up win it. Peach has her strengths as well. If played right, the mu is Peach favor.
Also, Sora and Terry aren't even that bad. If you actually know how to play the mus, they're even, but volatile. Same goes for Rob and Snake. Also, she doesn't lose to any dlc besides Min Min and debatably Steve.
@@Eggss_B Pheasant is a database of Smashmate match results. You can hold whatever opinion you want but the data is not in your favor. Among the DLC, she only does decent against Joker. The rest are losing or even. "If played right." Well, yeah. If you play perfectly and never make mistakes, of course you win. But Paisy usually loses these matchups on KO differential alone.
If you have any advice for the Paisy vs. Sora and Paisy vs. Terry matchups, I am all ears because these MUs are a nightmare.

I'm not saying you have to play perfect, I'm saying you have to play the mus CORRECTLY. Nobody is perfect, but you're clearly just not good at the matchups or just don't understand them at all. Peach losing to dlc is a 2021 take, we're in 2023 now and results show she does fine vs dlc.
Honestly as a non peach main. Why would you play peach over Daisy? She's so much more spunky and so much more personality.
As a Peach main, I usually player her over Daisy because I appreciate the calm and collected personality more. I still play both, just moreso Peach
I play peach mostly for the “aww did I win?” victory screen that I will select every time to tilt people, especially if you just made a comeback

Lame linear characters like Cloud and Sonic are ruining the game imo, hype combo characters like Peach and Steve should've be picked more
People do not talk about how lame Cloud is. Just Bair Bair Bair Side B Bair Bair Up B OOS Side B. I don't care if he has that flashy limit gimmick. I am never excited when Cloud is on screen unless he is getting beat. I don't even find Sparg0's Cloud hype. Cloud is just boring and I think it has to do with his sound effects, honestly.
A hype advantage does not make up for his neutral standing behind a wall in a fighting game.
