OMG it's literally my daily dilemma for weeks now !!! I couldn't choose between these three "ballet inspired" patterns ... I'm so grateful, I want to like this video a thousand times before even watching it ^^ edit : I also reaaaaally like the Robinson Wrap Cardigan by Florence Miller
I recently finished the Late Summer Wrap from Knitting for Olive and I just LOVE it!!! I couldn’t be happier with the result; it’s elegant, comfortable and easy to knit (specially if you have experience with saddle shoulders and short rows). So again, I ❤❤❤ it!!!
I wrote this comment before the part where you talk about your experience with it and I understand why you have doubts. I am from Peru, so I don´t have easy access to the yarn the pattern suggests, so I used baby alpaca from a local brand and at the beginning I also saw the problem of the neckline, but it disappeared when I blocked it (as it also happened to me with the Balloon Cardigan). I would recommend not to knit so tight in that area. After that, I had doubts when reading the part about attaching the ties, but it became clear as I worked them (it was also fast to knit). I hope you give it another try soon, because it's really a beautiful piece 😊
@@stringthingsbymel Oh! I used the lace blocking wires from Knit Pro to shape the neck when blocking the piece and I think that helped too. I've been using these wires a lot lately and they do shape any piece better compared to when I just laid the piece flat. Looking forward to your video on this piece 🙌🏽
Thanks!! I have made the Levitate wrap and absolutely love it. I will definitely make a second one at some point. I have yarn for the Late summer wrap but haven't started yet. I am in no hurry so I'll just wait until you are done and give us all the tips 😃 I have the ballerina wrap pattern as well (had it in my ravelry library for over a year) and got the updated version send to me for free! I like wrap tops so maybe that will happen as well. I am currently working on the Sofie Sweater by Susanne Mueller/Paula Strickt. I hope the fit turns out nice.
Thanks for a very helpful analysis! I agree - a schematic or table with measurements is sooo helpful! And, photos :-) The Robinson wrap does not include either, and there are just 2 photos of the completed sweater with no info on the size shown or the model's measurements. I wasn't too bothered by this until I divided the sleeves and body, and saw how small the sleeves were. I had the correct number of stitches for my size, and my gauge was accurate, but that left an opening of about 9" at the top of arm. After some measuring and recalculating, I decided to continue increasing for the sleeves only for another 1.5"", then split the body and sleeves. Hopefully this will work! I was debating between Grace and Robinson and chose Robinson because of the double knitting - such a clean finish!
This must have taken some work to compile and present in such an easy to comprehend way! So helpful! Thank you, I’m still leaning towards the Levitate wrap. 😊
It does take some work, but I enjoy filling out the spreadsheet and I'm becoming more efficient with each one. I'm glad to hear you find the information helpful!

I've heard great things about the Robinson Wrap! I'll need to add it to my list.
A great episode!
I’ve almost finished the Robinson Wrap and it’s amazing re fit and directions. Very impressed w Florence’s patterns!
So interesting, thank you. Incidentally I think your Levitate Wrap looks far nicer than the one on the model and really suits you
Thank you! ☺

I'm happy to hear you were able to make your fit adjustments before completing your wrap.
I totally agree about more photos too!
Thanks for watching!
I like your "spot the difference" videos.

Love this series! I just checked out your Google sheet and it's so helpful. Thanks for putting it together!
Love this video series so much! Thank you so much, it must be so much work to research everything ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Thank you!!
For me, Levitate is different enough from the other two that I’d make that and one of the others lol.
Lol exactly what I'm doing!
