1:24:41 I believe you're referring to Spitfire's theme that played when she was summoned? If so, that was me! I composed "Spitfire ~ Blazing Glory" but, in actuality, I didn't use a real guitar. The hard riff you here is actually from a guitar synth. (Sidenote: the theme also appeared in 3-2 when she made her first appearance then!) I talk a little bit more about it in the 3-2 DC, too, if you're interested.
Equally, I'm also happy you enjoyed the other custom tracks! Jyc made Philo's theme and the new Suspense that plays at the end, and I also composed Sonata's Prelude to the Truth (which plays at her Objection) and Luna's new courtroom theme.
Glad to see yet another reaction from you, and even more glad that this is your favorite episode so far! I hope you're looking forward to 3-5!

30:29 Its all about voice placement. I shape my mouth a certain way to create a specific air path, and the gravel I add doesn’t come from my throat, but more from the back part of roof of my mouth above my throat to where it doesn’t hurt. I’ll admit I didn’t use that technique much in Case 1 so it took a lot of practice to adjust to how I do it now.

The transpositional element was not directly from BCS, although me and James are avid BCS/BB fans and many elements of Case 3 are inspired by both series in subtle ways. I find that it works better, instead of making direct reference to another moment from a piece of media, to deconstruct why that moment works so well and try and integrate the setup and execution with different plot elements. You inherit the pacing and if you understand the source material well enough, the moment will work very similar, but people will find it original because you've substituted elements so that it feels organic to your storytelling.

"You think this is something? You think this is bad? This, this chicanery? She's done worse! Rainbow Dash's trial! Are you telling me she just happens to show up as the prosecution? No! She orchestrated it! Trixie! SHE PRESENTED EMBARRASSING PHOTOGRAPHS TO THE COURT!"
