Hey, how do you deal with the sound port not being present? How do you listen to the gameplay sound? I can understand with a Nintendo Switch you can just plug the headphones but what about on PS4 or Xbox? Great review :P
I use OBS to capture the gameplay footage so what I do is I actually set the sound to go through the computer I use OBS to monitor the sound and just capture the audio that way which also allows me to hear it.
has anyone found a good video of using streamlabs OBS for dual PC streaming with this capture card?
I just got a new windows 10 laptop and when i plugged in the avermedia box nothing popped up. I thought it was plug and play. Im confused am I doing it wrong. Its blinking blue.
I didnt get any rec software in the box im so confused :’(
Am I able to use this for live streaming without opening the software application. I don’t have a very good pc
This particular option does require the use of software running off of your computer.
Just wanna ask, does GC311 work on old PC with
i7 2600 3.4ghz
Nvidia GTX760
8gb ram
Yes it should not be an issue. Can work with an I5 and 4gb of ram
Thanks for u , put i have some issues with the sound !
When i connect AVerMedia with PS4 , and open streamlabs or even recentrel still there’s no game sound
So can’t stream or even recording
Please help me if u can
Not sure about streamlabs but I know classic OBS I had to enable monitoring of the sound in order for it to pass through and for me to still hear.
Wanderer001 can i talk to u with an video app to show u my problem
how bad is the delay between the thing you are recording and the thing that appears on the software screen?
At most half a second if that.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews hmm so its not that bad
@@Imufur Not at all. I have used it the last few times I have done Roku app reviews, and my wife has used it to stream on Twitch with no issues.
Is the pass-through truly 0ms? I really want to play my switch through a capture card simply for the ease of use and the benefit of having the video and audio both through my desktop so I can be in chat with friends, screenshare on discord, and not have to use a different input, but I want to be sure that the input latency will be intangible
I have used it for all the screen captures I do for youtube, and when I was testing it my wife used to to stream on twitch. If there is any latency it will not be noticeable.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews thank you. This card will make my life much easier
@@bonesaw527 Happy to help. That is why I got it too.
I have proplem sound not coming in desktop for the video from avermidea
Are you using the AverMedia software?
@@Wanderer001_Reviews u mean averamedia program for streaming it's name 4nitral
Yes I was trying to figure out if you were using their software or something like obs

I have my headphones plugged into my computer … it is so low I cant even hear myself speak.. how do I fix this? The game volume is louder than my voice
It sounds like the way your computer is leveling the imputs. If you go into your computer audio contorls it should allow you to change the levels for each imput into the computer.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews I’ll try that, thanks!
What is the name of this game??
Soul Calibur 6
No offense but for 2020 the system that you mentioned that you're using in this video isn't really future proof especially for mobile.
It was future proof when I built it 6 years ago. I realize it is a little long in the tooth these days, just thought a would have been able to get a little more out of it.
Is it just or is this video out of sync? Like when you were talking about the deck of cards, you were showing the ports. When you were talking about the ports, you were showing the user manual.
Just might be when you watched it. I went back and checked looks fine to me.
Yeah I think its just you
