    Hi I'm from Saudi Arabia and I want to thank you so much, I am 46 years old, and I started doing five of your facial exercise three weeks ago, the changes are dramatic I literally look 10 years younger, i had saggy cheeks but know they are lifted, 70% of horizontal lines in my neck has reduced, my jawline became more defined, my eyebrows and eyelids are lifted and my eyes became open and wide, I swear I look know the way I used to look in my early thirties , Your exercises are the most effective exercises I ever tried, i cant thank you enough.❤️

    I just found your exercises on You Tube a couple of days ago. I think I am finally getting a handle on the sequence and how to find the explanation for each exercise. Wow, there is a lot to learn. I am probably one of the oldest people to sign up, almost 74! People say I look about 60 but of course I see every new wrinkle that appears. Anyways I hope I am not too late to start and I hope for improvements in my face. Wish I had seen these videos when I was younger. Wish me good luck and thank you Peta!

      Welcome to the channel Linda This is a channel that you need to watch
      regularly to learn how the programme works. You need to be doing a full face
      routine. Here is the link to how the programme works and how to find the
      information to the programme on my UA-cam page - ua-cam.com/video/6xq3N1nSFVI/v-deo.html.
      Also, if you havent already I would suggest that you subscribe to the channel
      to get important updates to how the programme works and how to practice it
      successfully and safely.

      You are not too old to start Linda, just follow the programme exactly and you will see results over time. And, over time watch the coaching videos and you will find them very helpful with practising the program.

      Hi Linda, I just read your comment on Peta's video from 2 years ago. I am curious to know if, in the meantime, you have the results you were hoping for.
      Last week I discovered this channel an I am eager to do this face aerobics. I'm 63 and also want to turn back time a little 😉

    Ive seen a dramatic improvement in my face within just a few days. Cant wait to see what a few months look like. Then when you accomplish your desired result just like body building/toning, just do a moderate set of exercises to maintain the goal you've reached !!!

Unfortunately you cannot do just 3 exercises, with facerobics you need to follow the full face routines. As youve taught us Peta, its so important to visualize the muscles we're working on. Before, all the burn would be around my mouth area and I knew that couldnt be right so I adjusted my focus onto my cheeks instead of my mouth. The exercise makes much more sense now...lol. TY

    Hello, I'm new to this site and in the process of learning the exercises. I'm wondering what I should do with my middle fingers for this exercise? Do I press them down for pressure on the cheeks - are they supposed to create resistance? Or do I just rest them lightly on the skin? Thank you for all of these helpful videos. Hoping I'll see improvements on my face :)

    Hi Peta. Amazing job! I'm having difficulties with the cheek lifter (I' m a beginner). If I form a strong oval with the mouth I am not able to lift up my mouth corners. Instead in your videos (I watched all the cheek lifter videos)your mouth seems not to have an oval shape anymore when you do the exercise but more a "smile" shape. Plus, when I do the exercise all I seem to be moving are may nasolabial folds. My cheeks do not move like yours. Any suggestions? Thanks:)

    Hi Peta. Some questions. The middle fingers. should they rest on the cheeks or should they apply pressure? The thumb placement. is that to prevent wrinkles on the corners of the mouth? Is it necessary to form your lips on an o? it seems like it would be easier to pull the cheeks up by smiling with the lips curled in. And lastly, will this eliminate nasobalia lines? Thanks!

    Hi Peta, many thanks for the videos and also more thanks to spend your time to answer our questions here one by one. I'm 33 and I have slight nasolabial folds and a little bit droopy mouth corners. The area between the nose and the upper lip becomes larger that cause my upper teeth become less visible when I talk. I'm not sure if I could describe what I meant but I'm sure you got it. When I look at my mum's face I see an advanced version of this which shows that I'm aging exactly same as my mum:)) I was doing this exercise for about 2 months along with the another exercise of yours which we perform by holding one of our cheeks with our hands while placing our tongue into the opposite cheek. Maybe I was too lazy to do them only 2-3 times a week or I'm doing them in a wrong way but I could not see much difference. What I would like to ask you, is it possible to shape that area with faceaerobics in the first place? Secondly, did I choose the correct exercises to achieve the results that I expect? What would you recommend? Cheers, Fatma

    Hi Peta, I've been doing your exercises for about 3 months now along with my friend who started not long after me. We are both giving it our all but we have both noticed that some days our faces look like we have turned the corner and can see a big improvement and then to our disappointment the next day the lines and droopynes have returned :( is it because our muscles haven't had time to strengthen yet ? Please can you shead some light on this ? Thanks very much. Ellen.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  9 років тому +1

      Ellen Higgins Hi Ellen, there could be a number of things happening here. Are you doing a full face routine? This is where you will get the most benefit. Also, are you exercising the same area too much, and are you doing other cheek exercises along with this one, because if you are it is too much. Less is best. When you do a full face routine, you do one exercise per muscle group and build up the repetitions from 50 to 150 if you can manage them over 6 weeks. Then work out a new routine, one exercise per muscle group, and start again. This is the only way your muscles will stay firm, and you will not over exercise them. Only do the routine once a day, and let your muscles rest for 24 hours, then you will be ready to do the routine again for the next day. It is like when you lift weights in the gym, you do whatever routine you are doing for the day, and then let the muscles rest for 2 days. The facial muscles are smaller so they only need 24 hours rest if you are doing the routines correctly. I hope that helps!

    Hi, whats the difference between cheek lifter and cheek plumper? They seem the same? So I am doing the forehead, eyes, cheek and neck? I dont want to do the nose one. It seems that the cheek exercises are the same, what else can I add since I remember you mentioned I should do at least 5 exercises.
    Thank you Peta for these exercises.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 років тому +2

      Hi Len, firstly, you need to do the nose exercises that I have in the series, you cannot change the routines, otherwise it will upset the integrity of the routine. And, it will give you more sag or wrinkles. The cheek lifter exercises the upper cheek muscles and the cheek plumper exercises the lower cheek muscles.

    I'm still around and doing the exercises. I like this one, would you say it is the best for marionette lines? I have the ones running at the sides of my mouth, I am not troubled by the nose ones just the sad ones at mouth from corners of mouth towards chin:( I think this one may be helping a little,
    Can you advise on any other good ones to alternate with specifically for these marionette lines at mouth? x

    Hi Peta, would this exercise cause a little wrinkling of the eye area, because I can't seem to do this exercise without some crinkling of the eye area?

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 років тому

      Hi Gail, you just need to keep plugging away and learn how to do it, as it is a very important exercise in the programme. just focus on the muscles that are being used and work at not moving and isolate the eye area more firmly with your fingers.

    Hi Peta. Question for you. Will the "cheek lifter" exercise address the wrinkling I tend to get my cheeks, near my nasolabial fold, when I smile? It's like that area has gotten paper-thin with age and losing weight, and I dislike it so much that I don't smile much anymore. Thank you for your time :)

Maybe I am being optimistic but I already feel my forehead and eyes look better. I was just curious about what i could realistically achieve with the cheek exercises. Thank you for your always prompt responses. ❤️

      +Maya Nguyen - If you are doing the full face routines correctly, your whole face will firm and tighten. It wont happen overnight, and you will see subtle changes. It is different for everyone. By doing the whole routine, your face will tone and shape and feel firmer. Just keep doing it every day, and over time you will see a whole big difference.

    Hey peta,
    I noticed that my left jowl, next to the left corner of my mouth, sags a significant amount more than my right Jowl. In fact, my right jowl doesn’t sag at all. I have had a bad habit of chewing in the same direction (clockwise) and notice some resistance when I chew in the opposite rotation. I feel like this is the source of my problem. Also my left temporalis muscle is bigger than my right and I am able to clench better on my right side than my left. Do you have any idea of how I can balance these muscles out?

  • @tony0977

    Hi Peta, I really want to start getting into doing facial exercises. When I go to the gym I work on one specific body part per session. So for instance I will have a biceps day and just work on that. Can I apply this same routine with facial exercise. You see there are so many different exercises and muscles for the face I just couldn't do them all every day: So can I pick a day where I concentrate on let's say the cheeks then the next day I can concentrate on the philtrum and so on. Or do I need to work on all the facial muscles everyday. If so that would seem too much.
    Thanks
    Tony

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  5 років тому +1

      Hi Mad Hatter. Most everyone is like this, as our face is uneven naturally. When you do the exercise, just concentrate on the weaker side a bit more than the other, it will help even it up and make it stronger

      Ellen, try just touching your face and moving it around and getting to know your muscles first. Also, download the muscles of the face schematic and study it, and over time you will learn how to move them. Many people cant move their facial muscles when they start facial exercises

    • @facerobics

      Hi Salani, you need to isolate that area more when you do the exercise if they are wrinkling. you might need to move your middle fingers a little more vertically down the nasolabial lines whilst still isolating the eyes.
