- This video shows how to clean and condition your exotic cowboy boots. This process can be used for ostrich boots, crocodile boots, lizard boots, elephant skin boots, sharkskin boots and snakeskin boots.
For eel skin boots you will do the same process but just with the Angelus Cream.

I’ve been using the wet moisturizer towels that sell at auto zone to clean my leather seats of my car to clean my boots and the results are the same in less than one minute. Makes. My boots shine like new and protects them

I have a pair of Justin lizard boots i bought over 25 yrs ago and they look brand new. I use peanut brittle color cream polish. I don't wear them everyday but they have held up very well. Just take care of your boots and they will last.

Pretty similar and I imagine a similar process but I dont think I heard lizard/armadillo in there. Just got me a brand new pair in wine red and I'm really paranoid about the skin drying and cracking

same way..... you have to moisturize the fish scales once in a while... if not they have a chance of cracking...
Will I damage any scales if I use a brush like the one you have?

Hi!! for pure cowhide non exotic boots both saddle soap and bick4 is good... As longest the leather your using it on... is not a light color... Since both of those cleaners are very creamy... But again I havent tried it on a light color cowhide.. Only dark... If you do try it.. Please let me know.. I would love to know the outcome...

just found a Angeles reptile conditioner.. . when looking for the reptile cleaner ,,, ($11.00 bucks ebay ) ...whats your take on the conditioner? any color discoloration ? scared because my Ostrich were a custom made color by Luchasee..
Top flight I haven’t had any issues with discoloration.. but try on a small spot.. they shouldn’t tho for how much you over paid for them .. 👍🏽 let me know how it goes.. 🙏🏽

Fried Oreos no they shouldn’t unless they are print.. other than that your good to go.. since genuine boots are dyed and tanned not painted 👍🏽

I bought a pair of boots about a week ago and wore them to an event the next day today I realized the seam on the shaft on the right boot has a hole due to the stitching ripping
I don’t want to wear them fearing the hole might get bigger
I brought them at boot barn can I take them back for them to repair the hole

@@bryang9866 never used the boot barn cleaner but the scout or Angelus I use it’s okay to get over spray .. I would use leather conditioner if the top is leather

yes it will work! you can tell if the python is real if you put them next to each other and each boot has different pattern from each other.

on calfskin simply use regular leather cleaner/conditioner 👍
about the shaft... yea you can condition the shaft as well.. us be careful... if you white stitching .. go around it..

Henry Fabian yea man don’t be shy of spraying the boot.. it won’t hurt it or damage it.. spray it until looks watery.. then use the brush .. and yes make sure to clean the brush with water after 👍🏽👍🏽

Vladimir Calderon Sea turtles are not waterproof. To be honest they soak up more water on the soft parts then any other boot

no i will make a video soon... but you can just just a damp towel ... only... no cleaner/conditioner since they are from the ocean
I never in my life heard of shark skin boots. I would be reluctant on using it because I am not accustomed to using fish hide. I fear it has more downsides than good. If it were good material than the market would be selling them more and I would have heard about it more. I will stick to none fish related hides.
I might use sting ray hide though.
yea sharkskin is very tough... Fish... I fish i haven't own a pair... But once I do I will make videos... From what i felt.. it feel tougher then python thats for sure... But will let you know...

It does not make that much sense to use a conditioner that was designed for reptiles' leather (crocodiles, alligators, and snakes) on mammal leather. OSTRICH and CALF that's what your boots are made of, the conditioner is all wrong. Also it's wrong to call this kind of boots exotic, because they are not. The word "exotic" is reserved for reptiles.
They are not a normal leather therefore they are exotic.
A toothbrush? Do those boots look like teeth? Use actual equipment for the intended purposes. Don’t come off as though you don’t really know what you’re doing. I’d be embarrassed if it was myself.
