Watch Pure Audits latest and see how he dealt with same. Police weren't satisfied until he produced printed legislation from his bag showing why he didn't need to provide the ID.

Thanks for subscribing mate 🤗yeah very Tyrant attitude demanding my name especially when doing nothing wrong, i shouldnt of gave my operator ID but was willing to try work with police @ 1st due to this business thinking its ok to call them and waste tax payers money as part of their protocols for a drone doing a lawful flight over their business, but guy who turned up and had no clue about drones and being honest i didnt like his tone with me as it seemed he was talking to me as if i was breaking the law 😥👍🏻🏴
You can go a walk through the old Nobel site it was once the largest explosives factory in the world, the two chimneys were for the coal powered power station. You could spend a full day exploring the area and not see all the bunkers .
Thats handy to know as will be back in that area at some point as never flew Chopper over another near by business due to Chemring wasting Police time on me flying over here, so be good to have a wee explore and make a day of it, thanks again 😃👍🏻🏴

Apparently it is comparatively easy and a simple process to get a “No fly zone” designated if there are sufficient safety, security or other grounds. If they don’t have one it is their problem.

Well said mate, believe or not but this was my 1st police attendance in over 11 months ive been doing Audits, i wanted to prove these guys were in wrong for wasting police time and when a clueless about drone officer turned up i thought “ok ill let him have operator ID” but wasnt budging if he asks my name” 😯👍🏻🏴
Great nice to see a Scottish auditor, Especially in Scotland, where the behaviour of police Scotland has eroded public opinion so much they have no supporters in a jury (You know citizens who have history OF their terrible behaviour with members of the public)

Is that another example of an operator id being recorded illegally? You have to show it, but they can't make a record of it unless a crime's been committed. I don't think the cops are getting the interpretation right.
Well said mate normally when Police demand this showing it should be enough 😢 there is 1 thing that does confuse me regarding drone laws as it also states the Police can also ask a Drone flyer can be asked to prove he has the right credentials to fly, i will look into this more especially how this officer thought he had a right to demand my ID which i thought “fair enough i will give them it but not my name” & straight away he demand my name 🥲 typical tyrant behaviour which i was refusing to give as i had done everything lawful 🤪👍🏻🏴
@@Droneauditsscotland That confusion relates to larger drones if you are carrying out a flight that requires certain credentials to do that operation, for a sub 250 drone you only need to be 13 years of age or older. You don't need a flyer or operator ID as long as the drone is registered to someone with an operator ID. And you are correct telling that sleezy looking cop that you don't get a card, it's online at the CAA site, they do not issue cards or certificates, if you're a member of an association like like FPV you can pay for a card if you want one but not a legal requirement.

Yeah im aware if this mate but if Police are clever enough there is a loophole were they can ask for your operator ID but this officer was clueless on the Drone law he even thought it was should have a laminated card from some cheap ebay seller with my operator ID on it , experience of this makes me stronger next time as this was my 1st time police actually attending 1 of my videos since i started making them over 11 months ago 😯👍🏻🏴

The Grass security manager said we have cctv of him taking drone off as i walked up to police car cant hear him properly in video, there is a loop hole if fly drone then all police can check and take note of operator ID, this officer had no experience with drones he also expected my name like tyrants do 😥👍🏻🏴

What a great video mate honestly one of the best for interaction. That manager of security did not have a clue about anything he was absolutely hopeless! As for the police there hopeless aswell I think Saltcoats police need to get up to date with the laws. It’s shocking the way that they demand your operator ID. That video was a 10/10 mate 👍
Thanks Mate your comment put a massive smile on my face ☺️ yeah the police man did not have a clue and i didnt like his tone of voice either when he was demanding my name, their is a loophole when police check to make sure you have all the correct info for flying a drone they can take note, have noticed it happening more and more with auditors down south recently, the police had no clue and was telling me i should be buying a laminated card off ebay as if it was illegal that i hadnt, no doubt will be seeing Police again shortly as will now be using a zoom camera especially after that staff member approaching as i used camera for 7 seconds to film the barrier it really annoyed him 🤪👍🏻🏴
@@Droneauditsscotland Focus Pocus has a solution to the drone ID problem. Split it & put half the number on top & the other half side or bottom. They won't get it in 1 pic.

Sec 10 Police & Fire Reform & Criminal Procedure Acts. Keep a copy of relevant parts to read to them. Do that, they have no excuse for abusing position.

The security manager was embarrassing and needs to understand that his ‘concern’ for an activity that is legal is irrelevant. The male cop would benefit from having a friendlier approach as he was a right miserable looking sod (especially when dealing with a non crime).

The Security Manager admitted he flys a Drone himself so he knew more than better that shouldn’t be wasting Police time but due to the Tyrant Business protocols they obviously think its ok to waste Tax Payers Emergency Services as they dont like it if a Member of the public flys a small drone over their business & if was so top secret & a security concern then the CAA would of issued a no fly zone (FRZ) 🤔👍🏻
nice interaction well done, have subscribed. just a word of warning i notice you have a skin on your sub 250g drone, by putting the skin on you could now be potentially over the limit by 2 or 3 grams and breaking the law you might want to pop it on some scales to check or risk having your drone confiscated by a smart cop. fly safe
Thanks for Subscribing, yeah mate if you look Closely @ Chopper (Drone) i have only managed to put 75% of skin on due to the weight, when i did change over to Mini 4 i mentioned the weight issue i was having with skin, had to change propeller back etc as i do have Lime once as well but they were heavier, yeah i always anticipated i might get a Drone cop 🤗👍🏻🏴

Yeah the guy flys drones himself so he dam well knew i could fly over legally but due to the TYRANT Business (Chemring) they think its ok to just waste Emergency Services resources which are paid by the Tax Payer as they dont like a guy turning up outside site and flying a drone over, i never got to do the other business which was there because waited too long on the Police but when do go back will make sure Chopper flys over their yard for an update on construction and to prove they dont own the air .

Security manager is spot on, you could inform him of the weight of your drone for him to inform the police if you have any concerns about wasting police time not that you have to. But it lets the police know you are not just some fellah that’s bought a drone and is out on a jolly.
The security manager also flys drones himself he knew that there was No FRZ in place, the issue was they did not want me flying a drone with camera he states this in video

Yeah i made a few mistakes here and although ive been doing audits for 11 months i was still learning how to deal with police interactions as this was my 1st one they have attended since i started.
I communicate with ACE Audits so will also get their thought process on what i do wrong, and your right i was looking for a reaction due to mins early the baldy guard attitude annoyed me which normally doesn’t happen it was just the way he said “none of your business” when i was asking him a genuine question slightly annoyed me 🙈 all points are noted mate and know and welcome criticism especially if im the the one making mistakes 😯👍🏻🏴

There is a loop hole that police can check that you have right credentials to fly a drone, also seen dje media get caught out with this and have to show his operator ID as well as DJ & PJ audits recently but thats really for clued up or Drone police officers to use this tactic, this officer had no clue as he was telling me i show pay someone on ebay for a novelty card that laminates my operator Id 😯👍🏻🏴

Does anyone know where we can print of official usable documents that can given to Police showing there not entitled to take a note of your Operators ID unless a crime or suspected crime .

I have seen Dj audits & DJE Media letting police take a note of their operator ID recently, pure audits did have a leaflet that he said in video he printed off a Gov website so i commented on his video twice and the 1st time he deleted my comment which is very unusual for a Auditor to delete another auditors comment but someone else commented he got lifted in his video that he put down his battery ran out at end, so im not sure if there is a document but if you do come across one mate please let me know j will also reply to this comment thread if i do come across one but when i studied the laws the police Yes can only ask to see your operator ID if they suspect you of a crime but another section of the drone law says an officer of the law is aloud to check you have correct credentials to fly 🤷♂️ which would require seeing and taking note of operator Id, until i get such piece of information im just going to have to refuse until threatened with arrest , scottish law is just the same i had to double check that with me being the only drone Auditor up here, we need more and im trying to encourage others to start as right now im a guinea pig for the police up here especially how i go to different areas 😯👍🏻

There is a power that police can obtain your operator ID but they have to state the actual section of the law for me to have to let them take note of it. your right i did know about the loophole how police can get it but not that they have to actually say the section of law that states this to me and you can tell in this video the officer had no clue on drones he even thought i should have paid an random ebay seller for a novelty laminated card with my operator ID on jt 🙈
Have spoken with a well known uk auditor regarding this thats why now know dont have to let them take note of it unless they state the correct section, so wont in future 😀👍🏻
Lots of under ground bunkers you can see the domes in your video.
I didnt see them at time are they on their site or the land next door @ abandoned power station, will be going back to area so be worth looking at the bunkers 😃👍🏻🏴
@@Droneauditsscotland they are there site ..they have another gate out towards the way you would have came in..its not open for access .they have a brand new building round at that side..pretty high tech inside ..they use the bunkers for testing ..thats why they have there own quarry like bit ..its sand for blast testing .

Why did you let him photograph your operator ID?
There is a loop hole in which police can obtain your operator ID just for flying Drone to make sure you have the correct credentials to fly lawfully, even likes of DJ, DJE have let Police take note of their Operator ID & i have Spoken with another well known UK Auditor on this matter, your right i should not of let him photo my operator ID is this occasional but if a clued up officer on Drone laws hits me with correct section them i and all auditors need to show it, this officer was clueless he even thought i should have one of they novelty laminated plastic cards with my operator ID for Law 🙈 this was 1st time Police actually attended one of my audits so have learned not to give it to them unless they hit me with the correct section next time 😃👍🏻🏴

@jimmygodfrey4119 yeah i studied the drone laws and been confused with how the way its written contradicts itself as basically Police can ask you for your operator ID i also found out under that same section they can ask you for name etc but they do need to state under what section of law it is or do not need to provide it , the laws are not written very clear and thats why Police will be clueless on the matter as i dont imagine many will study and seek correct protocols before they are in a situation involving an auditor, unless i get a Police officer who is part of the Drone department or the officer who attends is in direct contact with the Drone team I shouldn’t have to let them take a note of it going forward unless they threaten me with arrest which then is a totally different issue for them as then will look into compensation for them abusing powers, didnt know all this at time but been updated since talking it over with a fellow auditor 😃👍🏻🏴
Don't show cops the operators ID so they can record it...they only get it is you ate suspected of a crime. No name or ID required to be given for the same reason !!
Yeah this was my 1st attendance with Police during my Audits, spoke with other auditors about the loophole that clued up Police officers can check that have correct credentials to fly drone but this officer was clueless and i did give operator ID to easy, next time i will wait til threatened with arrest and then put complaint in if they do push me all the way 😃👍🏻🏴
I think DJ audits has a strip of tape across his operator id on his drone. I believe the law is you must have one and it must be displayed on the drone. If they ask to see it then it is only to check that it is displayed on the drone so they could establish who owns it should it come down or damage something. Then you only have to give the id once a crime has been committed along with your name. No crime no id or name. 👍

Yeah have spoke with other auditors over this & will wait until threat of arrest before grudgingly let them take note then put a complaint in straight after, there is a loophole in the drone laws that contradicts itself as states “an officer of the law can ask to check your credentials to fly drone” but thats really only for Police that are clued up on drone laws and this officer clearly was clueless as he even stated at 1 point that i should carry a novelty laminated card with my operator ID with me like you get from ebay of a random seller, i did think the police were going to pull the business up for wasting tax payers money with part of their protocols as dont like a member of public lawfully flying a drone over their business, but as you see in video this was not the case after all Tyrants will agree with Tyrants 😟👍🏻🏴

Look, it's simple. You're not obligated to help the police incriminate you. Just say "no, you have no legal right to see my drone unless you suspect me off committing a crime."
Go on to explain that you have every right to anonymity and it is a human right in this country.
Do not speak to the police, do not give them any evidence.
Have spoken with some other well known UK Auditors on this matter the Police can obtain my Operator ID under a certain law but i shouldn’t have let them take note if it unless they actually said the exact section of law and like this officer he was clueless on law so your right on this occasion i shouldn’t of let him photo it.

@@Droneauditsscotland There is nothing in that legislation which shows that you have to give up your right to anonymity. The law is clear in this country. There are only two situations when you have to identify to the police. One, you're operating a vehicle on a public highway and two, you've been arrested. You can remain silent and there is nothing the police can do about it.
If you say they can search you, they have to have specific reasons to search you, such as drugs or going equipped. Carrying a drone is not one of those reasons.
Not saying they have any right to search me,im referring to them being aloud by law to take note of my operator ID, i was annoyed for giving it as goes against everything, you will see from time to time all other UK auditors letting take note of operator ID.
Was also wanting to Police on this occasion to tell of the tyrant business for wasting tax payers money as part of their protocols which involved a member of public doing a lawful procedure but should of knew Tyrants will always side up with Tyrants, this was 1st & only time police have actually attended one of my videos in the year ive been doing it, the interaction will prepare for next one 👍🏻😃

Anonymity is a human right in this country. Don't let them take it away from you.
If they arrest you, then protest but allow them to do it. It'll get you a few quid for a new drone.
@Zooumberg yeah ive been struggling to find a Gov or police website that explains the operator ID laws so i can print off and laminate as this is exactly what i need as im being abit if a guinea pig for Scotland as we dont have any other Current Drone Auditors here.

Yeah was my 1st interaction with police attending an audit mate, there is a law that an officer can do checks to make sure a pilot has correct credentials to fly which does allow him to take note but not if its just for flying over a business, have spoke with some Auditors down south and they said only let them take it of threaten you with arrest then can put a complaint in and show their true tyrants ways , i have took note and lesson learned on this one for next time 😃👍🏻🏴
