Your techniques are fine for a couple of emails. I have 20 years of an inbox to clean up. So, how do you delete more than 1000 emails from a given sender at once. Outlook seems to have a search limit of 1000 emails. Can this be bypassed?
Whatever happened to sorting by "Subject," then right-clicking the Subject header (which holds all the emails with that specific subject in the Subject line), and then hitting "Delete"? Every email with that specific subject in the Subject line would be deleted! It was one of the easiest and efficient ways to quickly clean up my Inbox! Is that option no longer available in O365?
You're absolutely right, and thanks for bringing it up! That method is still viable and we appreciate your insight. While we didn't cover it, mainly because sorting emails by subject might not always be the most common way to delete emails, it's still a valuable tip. Here's a refresher for anyone interested: 1. When in Outlook, click on 'Filter' at the top of your inbox. 2. Under 'Sort by', choose the option you prefer to sort your email (by Subject). Thanks again for your input!
I want to try this but whenever i try to let Clean Email get run its process on my email, I keep getting the message - "Error Occurred - Clean Email was unable to access your mailbox using stored credentials please log in with that account again". Can you please help w this?

How to delete 10 000 k emails from one sender ? when search by sender - you will see just 50 emails on the page so it is impossible to select 10 000 emails and click delete
What of it's full space & not getting emails, so you get past one people sent to you once cleared or no ? Mines is full, but I have important pics, plus my mother's death pic & death certificate from docuvsugn whatever I don't have that app anymore cuz space & I don't need to use it much so that's the only saved emails between the funeral last & me, etc. So some other I can't either. I didn't know individuals emails if not never would have had this issue.
Sorry to hear about your email storage issue. Cleaning your inbox doesn't mean you have to delete everything. You can move important emails or photos to a specific folder to keep them safe. Clean Email can help you quickly identify and remove emails you don't need, freeing up space for new incoming emails. Also, for your pictures and important documents, consider using cloud storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox, they offer a good amount of space for free. If you need more detailed guidance, please let us know!
In Outlook, enter the name or the mail address of the sender whose messages you want to remove in the “From” field. Click Search. Click the Select all checkbox to select all search results. Click the Delete button to delete all emails from the sender. In Clean Email, for instance, there is a separate Senders tab where you can set up any automatic rule or apply any actions to the emails of a particular sender in a jiffy.
But most of them just pop right back up again post-delete!@@cleanemail It's driving me nuts. Need to do it on PC, not webmail (which doesn't work for groups anyway.) It always worked before. Is it fixable? Say I want to delete all emails with "New York Times" in header. Check them all. Hit delete and they start reappearing! Help! (And thanks!)
How do you delete all the results of a search on the app?? Because long press does not select an email like you can outside of a search and therefore select all does not appear. And you can't even swipe to delete like you can outside of a search. Seems the only way is to open them up one by one to delete individually which is ridiculous. This glaring basic omission is so typical of everything built by Microsoft!!!
the delete groups of unwanted emails by using the shift key is exactly what i am looking for Thank you!!!!!

I'm concerned that the permissions that you have to give to Clean Email are too invasive - it includes 'Send emails as you'.

how do you highlight all the emails from one sender from all time. i have 12000 emails and dont have time for this shit one by one. is this possible
You can use the From filter to locate all emails from a certain sender and then delete them all at once.

Did you ever solve this Chris? Or do you delete a batch only to have them reappear like mine do! Driving me crazy. Thanks.
This is tedious, use "sweeps" and "rules" to automate the process.
