Iowa Hawkeyes @ Arizona Wildcats - Tucson Stadium 9/25/1982 - Chuck Long, Hayden Fry, Larry Smith

Hawks traveled to Arizona and righted their season after an 0-2 start. Chuck Long's first touchdown pass for Iowa was a 9-yard pass to J.C. Love Jordan to tie the game in the 2nd quarter. He later added a 14-yard TD pass to Dave Moritz, and Tom Nichol added a 20-yard FG with 2 minutes left in the game.
Mike Stoops would later become head coach at Arizona from 2004-2011
