Why are so many people defending Jess by saying "the video is not from today."? How is it not a problem even if the video is not filmed today? The Chinese coronavirus has been spreading for months now, and the outbreak in Europe didn't just start a few days ago but weeks, I guess most people are aware of this? I adore Jess, she is kind and smart, but during this period of time, everyone should be more sensitive, let alone Jess as a UA-camr with so many subscribers. I hope people including Jess to be more aware of the critical situation we are facing.
I adore Jess too but when it comes to fashion and travel she doesn’t seem to keep up with current events/concerns (e.g., prior to this, fast fashion hauls and frequent first-hand shopping hauls despite the push for more sustainable fashion...she got some flack for it too) so I’ve come to not expect it of her haha this definitely could have used more foresight though.
I am sorry, but Jess is okay here. The world is not at its end and people still work, smile, enjoy sunshine etc. To be sensitive, you should start with that even if there is not problematic situation in the world that might affect you. So selfish and annoying that people show sympathy only in the time when they are in some danger. Wake up. Do something other than panic to help improve our world today.

To all those going harsh on her because of the video theme and what is going on. I understand your point of view but I think everyone needs to calm down a bit. Those who can are being safe and staying home, however the world is not ending yet. People constantly talking about the virus and going full panic mode is actually causing a lot of stress for people with anxiety problems. I find it refreshing to watch recently published content that doesn't surround the virus. And although none of us can travel right now, it doesn't mean we can't still think about it and dream on it and watch content related to it.
It's not content vaguely about travelling, she is ACTIVELY promoting travelling right now. She is on a trip right now. It is very irresponsible not to address it in any way here. She is working with a company and will be uploading content from this trip.
