  • The town road leading up to my driveway. I had to stop the video before I got there, the driveway is a bit difficult.

    I made the first set of tracks twelve hours before coming home at the height of the storm. The trees were hanging lower and there were more of them in the way.

    Yep been there done that! It looks sooo pretty, but dangerous at the same time. An I love finally seeing someone WHO actually knows how to drive in it! Thanks for the footage

    That’s NUTS!!! I’m not looking forward to driving in snow. I’m sure it’s coming my way. Stay safe out there.

      We got about four inches of rainy, sleety slushy snow Tuesday night (I got to drive home from work in the worst of that too) and a foot of nice heavy snow on top of it last night.

      @@TheMudbrooker we got sleet late Tuesday which turned to a dumping of snow. The snow stopped Wednesday around 2pm. We shoveled and snow blowed out. Snow started again around 8pm Wednesday and continued until today around noon. We just finished digging out again the temperature was warmer today, so the snow was wet and dense. The temp has now drop, so we are getting icy roads. It started snowing again. We got 20plus inches so far. We are supposed to get another few inches tonight. ❄️💜❄️💜

    Never believed in true snow tires until I had someone sell me a set at cost! Always just bought all terrains. I honestly still can not believe the difference. So i now have a set of both! Knowing you from UA-cam you probably have a good set of All Terrains. Might be wrong but if you don't have a set of true snow tires they are worth the investment. That's if you're like me and have to be there!

    Oof... 4wd is very helpful but ain't a guarantee. Snow is worse than mud, I think. In mud you can see what you're getting in to. Snow hides the perils ahead.
    Glad you made it.

    It may look nice and fun, but we all know it's not and we can see how treacherous it is. Stay safe Mud, good luck and I hope you have a safe and great weekend, given the circumstances. Thanks

    I'm not complaining but we didn't get much yet. They had said about a foot by tonight and continue through noon tomorrow. We might have 2" so far. I barely had to shovel.

    I was talking shittake about the lack of snow, but thats not what gets you out here... Its the ice.
    I take it seriously now.😂

    The snow looks wonderful. The road to my cabin is slightly uphill, if there is any snow, the 2-wheel drive Ford gets stuck. I keep a sled there and move all my stuff like Shackleton, shovel a spot and park at the gate.

    I have a question for you Mr. Mudbrooker, I have a lodge chicken fryer 3 notch with a small helper handle that is solid not like the ones today. Can you possibly tell me about what year or decade it was made .? My brother gave it to my cause his eggs always were black on the bottom, he was gonna throw it out but I saved its life !! Soaked it in my lie tank for a week then reseasoned it Its good now. But what would cause that ? Thank you Frank from montana.. If anyone knows the answer please let me know.. Thank y'all.......

      If it just has a size number on the back, it's from before about 1950. If it has a size number and the letters "CF" it's from the late forties into the mid eighties. If it also says "Made in USA" it was made after the mid sixties. The blackness is probably from excess carbon and iron oxide shedding into the eggs. It's harmless, but unappealing.

    • @cynthiawesley2318
      @cynthiawesley2318 Рік тому

      Dont take this personal, I love having fun. THAT SAID,,, the blackness comes from yo brother BURNING UP EGGS.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Happy Holidays my cast iron friends.🎅🤶😂😂😂

      @@cynthiawesley2318 no Cynthia the blackness was on the underside of his eggs , that's why he was gonna throw it away,, it doesn't happen anymore I put it in a lie tank for a week then reseasoned it all over again. Thank you for your response,,, Frank.
