    Nice to hear about all the properties of garlic that plants benefit from. Ive seen many videos where garlic or onion is used but the specifics aren’t included. Much appreciated as the more I understand the background, the easier it is to remember !

    I like the way you explained with great patience about garlic water as tonic and kills all the germs on the leaves
    At the end you suggested not to use too much garlic water which will harm the leaves

      It is like all good things too much is a bad thing . So better to be safe than sorry . Phytotoxicity can be problematic with a lot of different products but does not stop us using them . In reasonable amounts it is completely harmless and very effective , it would really take a lot of overdosing to cause real problems but I have to put disclaimers in . Thank you for your your input . 👍

    Gracias por el consejo, me parece genial! Yo también tengo plantas sobre árboles y troncos afuera, pero vivo un poco más arriba de la ciudad de México, es decir a una altura considerable. Las veo muy bien, pues son nativas de acá, y florean todos los años. Pero en invierno, sin las hojas de los árboles están a pleno sol y mucho frío también. Que me aconseja? Las debería de proteger algo? Gracias mil por su canal

    • @thenaturecompany
      @thenaturecompany  11 днів тому

      Muchas gracias por su apoyo. Si sus orquídeas florecen todos los años en lo alto del árbol, entonces no creo que necesiten ninguna protección. Es posible que quieran luz adicional para producir los capullos de flores. Si le preocupa, intente dividir un pequeño trozo de uno de ellos y observe qué tan bien crecen en la parte inferior del árbol. Esto te dirá si les gusta o no. ❤️

    Given that the phaelanopsis that I try to rescue from relatives look as if they have a combination of fungus, algae, pests and poor roots, would it not make sense to combine a steeped solution of garlic (against pests and bacteria), ginger (to stimulate root growth) and cinnamon to discourage fungal spores? Presumably there is no negative interaction between the active ingredients?

    • @thenaturecompany
      @thenaturecompany  8 днів тому +1

      Studies show No interactions were found between garlic and Ginger Root. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Personally I prefer to use them separately but if you do decide to try it this way please keep us updated as to your results . It will be very interesting to see the outcome . 💯

    This is the 4th vid ive watched on using gaelic wTer for orchids and benefits.
    None of yu mentioned how often ITS to be used though. Once a month? Every two weeks? Yu say use in moderación. So how often?

    • @thenaturecompany
      @thenaturecompany  9 місяців тому +1

      it is all dependent on the state of your orchid , if it needs the boost then once a week for several weeks till it has recovered somewhat and then reduced to once a month is often enough to give your orchid the boost it needs for healthy happy growth . I hope this helps

      oh I certainly would think so . A lot of the micro nutrients and active ingredients in these natural products are often very volatile and other chemical additives will de-activate them . I would suggest you make them at home and use them directly . Rather make smaller quantities that you can use up in a month or so if storing them well . I hope this answers your question . Sorry for the delayed reply
