I’m honestly shocked people still want to see McGregor so badly, his run was historical, just a meteoric rise! Before he entered the UFC, he clearly stated what his goals were; win the 145lb strap, and win the 155lb strap, and be the first person to hold both at the same time, and then leave in top. Despite his aspirations seeming so surreal, he accomplished all of that, and only had to walk away to cap it all off. But he failed to walk away, and everything since has diminished his star power greatly. For his own sake I would love to see him just hang it up, because him going out there and not being at the same level he once was, is damaging his legacy and accomplishments, even though it shouldn’t. What he did can’t be taken away, but people’s perception of him can be. He’s clearly not the same person, he’s clearly doing steroids, yet people want to see him get back to that same heights he was once at, which is truly impossible. Say his heart is still in it, his mind clearly isn’t. All the nonsense out of camp he does, it couldn’t be more evident that he’s got one foot in and one foot out at this point.
It really doesn't take much for most people, especially since you were used to seeing him dehydrated and about 20lbs lighter than his walk around weight. TRT patients who work out can typically see around 20-25lbs of muscle added just in the first year of taking it, and TRT is typically dosed at 150mg per week. As Derek stated in this video, your typical "starter kit" cycle for someone who wants to bodybuild and run gear is 500mg of test per week, and a lot of guys will toss a daily 25mg of oral anavar on top of that since var is notorious for being light on sides.
@@ChucksSEADnDEAD A comeback in this sense, means being able to compete again at the same level and coming back to the sport. Really like Derek mpmd, I just think he is a very thoughtful, very self aware, articulate person. Loved his video a few years ago on GHB and things that bodybuilders do for gains. I don’t know much about competitive combat or lifting but am fascinated by the things that athletes do to beat drug tests. The netflix “Icarus” was fascinating to me. Also I heard mdmd mention that guys could abuse amphetamine, I had no idea that is a compound that fighters would use. Is there performance enhancing components? Can anyone who trains or knows about this answer that? I’m trying to think of situations where amphetamine would be useful other than cutting weight.
Just look at Mike Mentzer. He used methamphetamine as a pre-workout. Pre-workouts are loaded with stimulants. Infact, in the early 2000s a pre-workout called Jack3d was famously removed from shelves for having a compound that was almost chemically identical to methamphetamine. Think about the little 90lb tweakers you've seen fighting off 10 cops and flipping cars and shit. If you smoke meth before a workout you're going to be able to bring a lot more intensity and move a lot more weight than you normally would, which means increased muscle stimulus and as a result - better gains over time.
Derek looks big again. there was a couple pods he was on where his delts looked like they could quite possibly belong to a human. glad to see they’re back to their celestial status
0:23 for anyone who wants to actually know: they aren't doing any testing outside of the state commission testing. The organization is essentially a shell company to say they have an in-house body monitoring drug testing. As of now the only rules on books post USADA is state commission testing.
BPC157 is amazing for injuries and also if like me have had pancreatitis and GI issues. Obvs get proper meeical advice from a medical professional, preferably private because NHS is a joke.
I think if someone breaks a bone they should not only allow tb500 bpc157 and HGH but have their own drs and surgeons to prescribe and administer these drugs in office. They should make them sit out for a set amount of time based off the typical recovery time for that injury. Then add an appropriate amount of time post drug use to clear the system and not have any performance enhancing effect. This should be in every sport. Athletes should have access to the same level of care as everyone else. Have usada administer the drugs themselves. But let them heal
i just dont understand people saying he was on steroids like it was some big secret and they caught him lol he snapped his leg in half most people can never walk properly again sometimes they have to get amputated thats how serious that break was....of course you go on steroids to help recovery. hes one of the most tested and clean fighters the UFC has had.
I firmly believe that these athletes should be able to utilize all medications "drugs" needed to heal when they sustain injuries. it seems to me Conor done it right and was able to due to his status financially and within the UFC. I think all fighters should have that option. it's what's right, I mean look at Chris Weidman, he could've gotten much, much better treatment and been healthier in his life even after he was done with fighting
@@user-iy3gb1sp2w agreed but some fighters are afraid they'll loose their careers because the area is very Grey and as of now you gotta have ridiculous money for the Dr's and the medicine to do it properly. my point is folks like Chris Wiedman were to scared to get the proper health care using those medications or "PEDs" there is still a stigma and a more sound monitoring system needs to be put in place, a new one
Bro they will do that. That's what they do in all the major leagues. The problem is where do you draw the line. Guys like lebron will get random groin injuries as they start to drop off and reup and that's within policy.
People think steroids are hgh are the same and they’re the ones being ignorant to the science. This stuff heals and these athletes make millions and gotta save their job, plus why the fuck wouldn’t we have this stuff available it’s a god send to have human growth hormone lmao. Fuck outta hereeee lol
I'm with Joe, they need to allow guys a little leniency on recovery supplements. Combat sports, even football costs such a major toll on your body. Most people have no idea what constant high-level training does to your body, let alone getting repeatedly hit and/or slammed by pro athletes during and event, or post-injury recovery. You don't put regular gas in a Nascar, or take it to a Jiffy Lube between races.
Legit question: if you can fight while you have metal rods in your hand/foot then could you fight if you replace your shin with metal "bone"?👀 Where is the limit? Would wanna see adam smasher in octagon
The Bible is truth. To understand this you must do the inner work Jesus Christ taught. It all starts with forgiveness from the heart. Start by finding the grievances we all build up with our parents. They have generally raised fed loved us to some degree. Looking inside, realizing that they are people who make mistakes too, and genuinely forgiving them everything shows an important aspect of your soul to God. Genuinely mean absolute forgiveness inside your heart. This is key. To be forgiven we must forgive. This step teaches you why Jesus Christ is lord, and why you need to break down to him and ask for forgiveness. Afterwards read Genesis, Mathew, and one book of the Bible you chose yourself. These four steps have important spiritual significance and are like milestones within our souls. Please trust me. Genuinely open your heart up to God. It is all true. Jesus Christ is the way truth and life. 😊
As former world champion highland athlete, there an incident where woman multiple world champion highland athlete changed to Olympic weightlifter and was busted for steroids. The Highland Games association wanted to take away all her titles. She threatened to sue the organization because they never tested any athletes. Saying she competed in organization that never said it was drug tested organization. It just went away and she never got any of her titles and records rescinded nor an asterisk placed before any titles or records. For years I ran into her at competitions and in morning she had five o’clock shadow and voice two octave lower than mine. Everyone knew she was on gear but no one said anything except in whispers behind her back. It’s funny that she made it all the to nationals in weightlifting and was tested and had two year ban. I guess after completing in non tested organization she thought she was above the law. I mean her name was plastered on inside on inside cover of the weightlifting magazine of people that were busted.
The real problem is the PIO and then micro dosing CBP. When they come off the sauce there's way too many metabolites for the MJJ to do the PPP and CCC and JJJ.
The UFC drug policy is meaningless because they still have to abide by sanctioning bodies to legally hold events in the US and most of the first world. Pro wrestling isn't a real competitive sport so there's no federation or athletic comission overseeing the "fights". Unless they plan to do everything from Abu Dhabi from now on, their internal drug policy cannot save them from external oversight.

Joes asked me to be a guest a few times, i told him if i could eventually fit him in, id consider it.
Derek looks big again. there was a couple pods he was on where his delts looked like they could quite possibly belong to a human.
glad to see they’re back to their celestial status
He’s chunked up in the face and the veins in his temple are more prevalent than I’ve ever noticed them being, and he’s part of a trt clinic so 😅
@@beastleemainhe’s been on trt for years, he’s always stated that.
@@2BaSedP0l0Swagq my point was he has easy access to the drugs and the way his face looks indicated more than trt dosage
Conor is more saucy than a Epic Meal Time video. MORE SAWWWWCEEEEEE!
Vitor Belford return confirmed lol
😂😂😂😂
I was just going to say this 😂.
This whole podcast is literally Derek interviewing Joe.
Thank God. No more podcasts with bow hunters or comedians
One of the few people that would drag me into an episode of jre
I think if someone breaks a bone they should not only allow tb500 bpc157 and HGH but have their own drs and surgeons to prescribe and administer these drugs in office. They should make them sit out for a set amount of time based off the typical recovery time for that injury. Then add an appropriate amount of time post drug use to clear the system and not have any performance enhancing effect. This should be in every sport. Athletes should have access to the same level of care as everyone else. Have usada administer the drugs themselves. But let them heal
What a great podcast, so much knowledge shared on professional manner. Rare these days.
i just dont understand people saying he was on steroids like it was some big secret and they caught him lol he snapped his leg in half most people can never walk properly again sometimes they have to get amputated thats how serious that break was....of course you go on steroids to help recovery. hes one of the most tested and clean fighters the UFC has had.
Bcuz anyone else in his situation THOSE SAME PPL excusing him, would critique others
Thank god you aren’t my doctor. Leg break = amputation? Wtf this isn’t 1780s
Neat to watch the views go up while watching this video.
Let’s ban fucking creatine since we wanna be pussies about it
I need to watch this full ep
I'm with Joe, they need to allow guys a little leniency on recovery supplements. Combat sports, even football costs such a major toll on your body. Most people have no idea what constant high-level training does to your body, let alone getting repeatedly hit and/or slammed by pro athletes during and event, or post-injury recovery. You don't put regular gas in a Nascar, or take it to a Jiffy Lube between races.
I really wish there was a way to split comments by subject of video vs ball washing and shaft polishing for Derek.
Let the fighters cook aka let them juice 💪

Where is the limit? Would wanna see adam smasher in octagon
Love seeing Joe so interested in Derek’s knowledge like the rest of us who watch mpmd
Joe probably using Derek for private consultation about his own stuff

Both companies are merged under TKO. I bet UFC new drug policy will be as legitimate as the WWE wellness policy 😅
An interview with Ross Kemp would be great
McGregor has too much cash to ever come back now.
