Technically a grain of sand will have an atmosphere in space. Granted this atmosphere may be to small to measure but the gravitational pull of the sand will attract different ions. As long as the object is big enough (Large amount of ions thus thicker atmosphere) a parachute will work fine.
@dommelsch nope. Bier means beer in Dutch. you can put a suffix at the end to form a diminutive. e.g Bloem = flower / bloempje = Little flower. bier = beer / biertje = little beer. But sometimes we put a suffix at the end of the word for no apparent reason, like in this commercial. They say biertje but it doesn't really refer to a 'little beer', just a normal beer. I hope you get what I'm saying.
@DanChoiThon we do have grafity in mars if you didnt know! every planet has gravity, cause every planet has its own electro magnetic field! some grafitys are weak some are strong!
@Drainstormer Noooo, Dutch and German pronunciation is quite different. Dutch is much harder, whereas German sounds more.. civilized, lol. Also since English has so many words derived from French, English and Dutch vocabulary aren't that much alike.
People here do not know their geography well. If I say I am Dutch, they think I am German, or they think I am Danish. They only way they know where I am from is when you mention the city of Amsterdam, then I bell goes off, or the lights turns on. Sad because there is more to The Netherlands then just was is going on in Amsterdam.
@fabio344 for the airbags, i guess.. thanks here to Mercedes Benz, who was produced in the 68/69 the first working sort of airbag that we know today ^^ anyway, great comercial :D
@600IR no i didnt misunderstand him, because i never asked him, i just gave him a hint, if he wants to ask my friend himself! and 2, The Electromagnetic field of earth does not reflect Solar Rays(X-RAYS), that's the OZONE layer's job to do that, go do your homework!
Parachutes work due to air resistance; Mars has an atmosphere, meaning that air is present, and also has gravity, albeit lesser than Earth. What is your point exactly?
You need air for a parachute and something to colide on for an airbag, only thing why you need gravity is to keep the beer in the glass. Too bad for you there is gravity on mars
@dommelsch man by the way i typed it seems im saying u r wrong but no im saying u r right thats why i placed it as deutsch cuz some persons think deutsch and dutch is the same my mistake i wanted to place it Deutsch=Germany and Netherland=Dutch
@ShadeRunners Most importantly Dutch is the language of Holland (The Netherlands) and German is of Germany. Dutch is not a German dialect and German is not a Dutch dialect. Two totally different languages. People in Germany won't understand a word if you would speak Dutch.
It's one of my favorite ad s. Lekker biertje!!!
The song played at the end is Moloko - Sing it back. Only then in a slight different version ;-)
enjoying heineken right now:) sitting on the balcony in holland...
life's good..
lol love their commercial so creative lol nice modification thought I was gonna see a couple of grey heads popping out when the camera zoomed out lol
the best Heineken Commercial

its just a way of telling aliens that "we come in peace"
Heineken,
drink enough of that and after a while you might look like a Marsian.
@ChernomirdinReturn Actually there is no air on Mars but there is a mixture of other gasses which makes a parachute a viable option.
Now we wait :P
Still the best commercial ever✌
Now we wait! :D
The best commercial I've ever seen!
Top weer! altijd heineken met die goeie reclame's! love it
Although beer is discussing,but I love the commercial.

Yeah Heineken = Best Beer commercials you´re totally right
Still waiting waiting… no worry there is plenty of beer
If there is life, the dutch will find it. Brilliant!
@ChernomirdinReturn it entered the atmosphere there is air inside the atmosphere are mars hence the parachute
that's the most ingenious ad that I have ever seen!
Ik ben het helemaal met je eens. LeafFamke: "Ik weet het, ik ben erg"...
Thats one of the best beer commercials ever.
i have to go to Mar..........right now. LOL
Wat een Engels toch ook weer. Vraag me af of hij niet gewoon 'Nou, wie weet' zegt.
Very very funny remake of the laguna monster xD but i think it's better the old ad xD
@fra2603
true, to be honest the french had a very good resistance from the locals
Put Heineken under the tree to see if Santa really exists.
It really is in Holland. Try searching for Radio Kootwijk building A on Google and you 'll find out.
that's true. But you actually need something. Soundwaves just don't work in a vacuum.
@DanChoiThon
we do have grafity in mars if you didnt know! every planet has gravity, cause every planet has its own electro magnetic field! some grafitys are weak some are strong!
In real Mars, that bier would have been frozen in an instant. Not to mention the glass would break.
I totally agree with you!
Ground Control for European space missions, perhaps?
@paw0987654321 The song in the end is a piano version of the 1999 dance classic "Bring it Back" from "Moloko"
That's a time ago when I see this commercial on the tv
the music makes the end epic :D :D :D
The song is a remix from Moloko - sing it back...
@Drainstormer Noooo, Dutch and German pronunciation is quite different. Dutch is much harder, whereas German sounds more.. civilized, lol. Also since English has so many words derived from French, English and Dutch vocabulary aren't that much alike.
Nee man. Hertog Jan heerst meer. Maar props voor het Heineken marketing team.
heineken is beer at it's best. 3 ingredients. It fresh and plain. Belgium beers are herbs, and everybody knows that.
@tttmmmnnnttt wrong, gravity is not caused by electromagnetism but by mass
Now we wait ;) Heineken is still the No 1 most sold beer world wide. No matter what the pessimist might say haha
makes me proud to be dutch haha
Deze reclame is en blijft geniaal!!!
you can definitely hear noises on Mars because it's Heineken
@Appelcompote true :)
Belgian beer is the best!
Wonderful

Awesome!

haha universe owned! xD
Hahaha, someday the Dutch will find live on other planets... and give it beer ^^
Hmmm Dutch beer.
Greetz from the Netherlands.
Best Heineken commercial ever! Too bad the beer itself sucks.
@600IR
no i didnt misunderstand him, because i never asked him, i just gave him a hint, if he wants to ask my friend himself! and 2, The Electromagnetic field of earth does not reflect Solar Rays(X-RAYS), that's the OZONE layer's job to do that, go do your homework!
Take it easy Dommelsch, we have indeed a (west)germanic language :)
see wikipedia under west-germanic languages..
If there is life on Mars, the Dutch will find it.
yup. translates as 'wanna beer?'
@DecileNeil yup.....well, it WAS
Parachutes work due to air resistance; Mars has an atmosphere, meaning that air is present, and also has gravity, albeit lesser than Earth. What is your point exactly?

Very good

Perfect!
I love dutch Commercials
I would love to see their faces a month later when they've gotten zero activity and have to fold it all back up.
Long live heineken! :D
You need air for a parachute and something to colide on for an airbag, only thing why you need gravity is to keep the beer in the glass. Too bad for you there is gravity on mars

Now we wait^^
heineken did it again
Hammer!
@bySander
German people understand Dutch just as well as Dutch people understand German. Especially the Germans from the northwestern part of Germany.
i'm prowed to be dutch when i see this commercial :P
Heiniken : Hij En Ik Nemen Iedere Keer Een Nieuwe
O yeah beer in Mars !!!
@ShadeRunners
Dutch = People from Holland (IN ENGLISH)
Deutsch = People from Germany (IN GERMAN)
it couldnt be easier
@Kronikwisdom They took pictures a little later, when the sun was at noon overhead.
There was nothing but rocks, sorry.
Didn't know Heineken was still classified as "beer"....
een pianoversie van moloko - sing it back.
there's no OXYGEN, doesn't mean there won't be sound as long as there's an atmosphere.
@vankylandia
Where you study? This is not air, this is gas.
@dommelsch man by the way i typed it seems im saying u r wrong but no im saying u r right thats why i placed it as deutsch cuz some persons think deutsch and dutch is the same my mistake i wanted to place it Deutsch=Germany and Netherland=Dutch
@anar831 Erase the 'i' and 'tj' then move the 'e' to the left of the 'r' and bam, you have what you were looking for.
You must say on The Moon
@ShadeRunners Most importantly Dutch is the language of Holland (The Netherlands) and German is of Germany. Dutch is not a German dialect and German is not a Dutch dialect. Two totally different languages.

@gerstiLFTH Amstel is from the same producer
