Hi, Sorry I missed this question. The standard drum carder is 8" wide & the Wild carder is 4" wide. They both have the 72ppsi (72 teeth per square inch) cloth, the teeth on the Wild are slightly longer which allows you to pack in all the extra goodies when making art yarns. Also the Wild includes the packer brush & the cleaning brush. You can use your Wild for everything you use the Standard for also. You can get 2oz of fibre on the Standard & 1 1/2oz on the Wild. I use your super fine carder, when carding merino wool it produces a lot of little clumps which stay even after 10 carding passes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot in advance!
