- MM2 Revisited v6 is a very large overhaul mod for this game that I am working on. One aspect of the game I am wanting to improve is the racing, because it is quite simply a joke by default. This race, along with most others, is easily winnable in a Frightliner Century semi truck. In this video, I took an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage (one of the fastest cars in the game), and really only made a few mistakes while driving. Unmodded, I would have won by 2 miles. After a few tweaks though? Well... not so lucky.

It's absolutely fantastic how cinematic feel that race had. That Cadillac flying at the last big jump on lap 1, Audi TT breaking at the start of last lap, that overtake by Panoz at the last rising, VW rsi breaking and making that wobble crash after the last jump and finally you finishing with black smoke just 0.19 seconds after the winner.
I'm amazed at how the Roadster was able to stay at the top for so long. Good stuff.
This gives the races some more life, and makes them seem way more fun and challenging. Great stuff deebz

This is awesome! Perhaps I hope that one cop car by the Ferry building has also been moved to the alley by the Hyatt Hotel in Amateur Mode because when I played Cruise mode in Amateur Mode (with default traffic density) one time with revisited, that cop car was still in the same spot.

Midtown Madness was indeed supposed to be Microsoft’s family friendly version. Although I’ve always enjoyed this game more than any Midnight Club game because of the greater focus on realism by comparison.
@@dummiesboy realism you say well the moment Midtown madness has racial stereotypes of edgy, angsty hip, underground scene kids, obnoxiously modified sports cars, blazing pulsating techno and high speed, nerve munching, Insane controller smashing race difficulty... I will certainly endear to _realism_ as well. 😋
