Well, the gimmick BEING he's a down trodden alcohol reviewer. Dude is an actor. And this is a character he is playing. It's a great character, don't get me wrong, but it's also a "gimmick".

After all your seltzer videos, I finally tried a White Claw for the first time. It tasted like someone was thinking really hard about limes while filling a can of plain, slightly boozy sparkling water. Next time I get that craving I'd probably just get a Bubly and add rum to it.

Maybe if he combines the topo chico mango with the Malört it will be amazing. Maybe 2 wrongs could make a right.
I actually feel this is the first Bud Light Hard Seltzer that they got right, the rest of their seltzers are god awful, but these are actually very pleasant to drink. They mostly taste like Diet Sodas.
Considering these are not hard seltzers and they are hard sodas they still have not gotten hard seltzers right.

This is good, but I'm still holding out for the Malört / Besk taste-off. Leatherbee insist that Besk, though a liqueur of the same type as Malört, 'can be gracefully incorporated into sophisticated cocktails'. I have no idea what constitutes a 'sophisticated cocktail' - I'm watching a video about low-quality hard seltzers, all cocktails are fancy - but I think we need to see this concept put to the test.
Besk is significantly better because it has actual other flavors while also using the wormwood to bitter it. Malort is just sugary wormwood juice

Got a few promos at the liquor store I work at a while back. I remember the cherry tasting like cough syrup, but it was miles better than the cola. That shit was nasty

I like this particular set of BL Seltzers, though the two colas are, to my palate, far superior to the citrus and orange offerings.

My brother in law bought these to try. He didn't like them and gave them to his brother. His brother didn't like them and gave them back so he gave them to my dad. My dad didn't like them and gave tgem to me. I didn't like them and gave them to my stapdad. My stepdad didn't like them and gave them to a friend. His friend didn't like them and threw the remaining ones away. A very quality product. Tastes like a very very very crappy diet soda that went flat a week ago at best.
