This probably was the better line. It doesn’t solve the problem of the split, but I would have been able to break black in Aus and still been able to throw 80-100 troops into their big army when they were on 0 cards
The opening was so south hemisphere heavy with the troops. I like how you went north Euchre. I haven't played it in a while. Great game. Midwest US and Canada favorite.
Hindsight’s 20/20, so I doubt I’d have done anything different, but I think the play was knock out Red’s 23 stack-> hit black stack-> kill red. Losing a 93% is brutal, so I don’t think you played it wrong.
You failed that attack at the end because you should have killed black with red being blocked on his 23. You went for the high risk, but gave up the victory for trying for style points.
Killing black for zero cards while reds on 5 cards holding half the board is actually the worst of the three lines to take. The best line is to kill red first on 5 and then blitz blacks stack while they are on zero cards. I chose the line i took because I wanted to ensure an 100% roll on blacks big stack to maximize attackers advantage. Taking a line that works 93/100 times is hardly high risk and wasn’t an attempt at style points.
@@digitallic That 23 is locked so take a turn of hopefully eating a big trade and holding the majority of the board. When hitting Middle East, you take that 53 stack; send ~25 into Black to guarantee the black kill and the other 25 clears out to Central America. You would then pull your left over stack from black kill into Central America. You would have probably ~20-25 stack left over in Central America holding rest of board. Red would hold 6 territories, get his big trade of 10, for 13 troops. Best he can do is add it all to Western Europe, go to North Africa, Break SA, hope for god dice whole way and he has a 4 left over in Indonesia. You would be on 21 territories at that point so he takes one more putting you to 20. He then needs to activate his stack, but has no good spot for it. Since you could then two point NA/SA with the 6 troops you get and splitting your stack. His only saving grace on that would be another big trade on 3, but would be stuck with 13 troops on a split 10s.
You played an awesome game. The Europe position on flat map is almost guaranteed disaster. You couldn’t have done anything else, and you put yourself in a position to win. Stupid 7% man!
"we both needed to attack red" how was that supposed to work when you told green to attack red, your stack was closed to red so you wouldn't even have been able to do anything. I'm no grandmaster but in my mind you doing that just seemed like you wanted green to attack red without you doing anything that turn. at least aggress the player you are suggesting the other to attack. or attack first
turn order is everything in these situations. It's on green to start the process since they go before me. If green started the aggression, I had options. I can slow roll greenland, use a trade to hit them if I had one and then fortify a stack into their face. Green did the exact opposite, they moved off north africa which opened red's other army to me making any aggressive move by me now potentially game ending. If the turn order was reversed, and green thumbs upped an attack request on red, I would have made the first move. I went the other route here to let red get big and force them to make the first aggressive move with patience. You'll see later in the video green finally attacked red and I instantly geared up to help on the very next turn.
93% of the time, it works every time
18:33 the red "STOP IT" had me going 🤣🤣
Red with the 😂 was the best
Man I was thinking ‘that split is going to mess him up’ and it totally messed you up
That's the most Digitallic shit I've seen in awhile 🤣
Would have killed red first then hit black, that was a nightmare split though

@@digitallic yeah it really was just a judgement call, can't say I would of done it different if in the same situation

Euchre. I haven't played it in a while. Great game. Midwest US and Canada favorite.
You play Euchre too! I haven't found anyone outside my family who knows it, so I've had to teach all my friends.
Yeah man love euchre. Great card game.
I have gone 4 games in a row top 3! Thanks to watching your videos, idc about winning i just have fun 😅
That’s awesome bro!
That was the worst ending I've ever seen. But the meme at the end was still great
Oof, that ending xD

It was a strange spot with black being on 0 cards and a big stack pointed at me for sure
That ending was painful to watch. Still gg man.
Just roll the black stack after, Sir Noobington
both lines can fail here
I like that alot , keep up the good work Digi !
dammmmmmmm! That last attack on red.
I've never seen your tats. :O They are cool!
Thanks dude
you should have put your 3 next to red at the end and blocked black from getting the kill
No. Red wakes up and feeds me to black and I get third. I have no real path to victory after losing that so I’m happy to secure second
@digitallic fair point. They were emoting like crazy haha.
Euchre is the best!!!
no idea why you hit the big stack first. oh well.
attackers advantage on big stacks is much stronger when you take an 100% balanced blitz roll. This move works 93/100 times, probably more.
@digitallic haha true

Mic sounds a bit off today?
my mic has been giving me problems for months. I will be upgrading hardware over the next two weeks

Happens bro!
@@digitallicHey I was thinking, what if you didn’t slam black’s big stack quite so hard? You think you would have pulled it off then?
I miss the funny or insightful comment thing u use to do. Great video tho!
