There were cases where patients died waiting in an emergency. A lot of times, a patient's situation life threatening because of delayed diagnosis due long wait times and idiot doctors. Healthcare system in Canada is screwed up big time. I myself had done my minor ear surgery from Pakistan because in Canada, I was given a wait time of 1 1/2 year. Tell the guest to have some knowledge before saying bs. I live in AB for last 11 years and healthcare is at its worst.
Canadian govt is expecting 2.4 million people to leave voluntarily such as students, illegals, asylum seekers etc. The goal is to kick out 4.9 million altogether, which tells you that a country is in extreme crisis.
Just FYI. Pakistan's healthcare system is comparable to India's when it comes to private hospitals. However, government healthcare facilities in both countries aren't very good.

In Dubai/UAE, if you lose your job, you go back to your country. In Canada, you qualify for unemployment insurance and welfare.

He was just giving example. Even Pakistan medical system is far better than UK, I have lived in the UK for 12 years and know how NHS was struggling.
