Wali Bhai, I have lived in Canada & Dubai many years. Pakistani families who lived in Dubai for a long time and moved to Canada always want to go back to Dubai because Dubai life is very comfortable and upgraded compare to Canada. So generally, they come up with these different made-up issues that have no significance in daily lives. In fact, they are misfits from the first day until the last day of their lives in Canada. After listening this guest, I believe he falls in the same category.

It is true that for Indians ( mostly Hindu and SIkh ) and Pakistanis ( Mostly Muslims) when they migrate to western countries there is conflict in ideology and some unease about certain aspects ( both on religious ground and non religion practices )... however it is wrong to keep complaining, here are some points ( yes there is freedom of choice one can decide what one wants to do but one should use some common sense !)
    1) Migration is a partnership no body forced one to migrate
    2) You have to take good with bad in any country , If Canada/ANZ gives you migration without even having a job the migrant has to accept whatever shortcomings there are ... tell me which Mid East country does that. Golden visa is not a true PR
    3) These are western Liberal Christian dominated but multicultural societies,, one MUST accept that if you wish to migrate
    3) best is when young migrate to west, get citizenship and some exp and then find a Ex pat job ( western conditions) in mid east and save for few years and come back to the west.. because in the mid east many times there is a diff in pay packet based on where you are recruited from ( I am not saying that all South Asian are paid low .. just that there are open advert saying " western Educated preferred
Please don't get me wrong I am not saying the West is the best .. but watching such comments makes me wonder why this educated , highly skilled gentleman is sort of complaining ,
Wali Khanji you are a good presenter I hope you get the other side of the coin also

Yes, USA is a bigger market but it has its own problems ... Canadians will never want to raise their kids in USA ... but for someone in Pakistan it's a different story. There are lots and lots of other factors in life that one has to consider other than money. Canada is by far the best country in the world ... only those will understand who have lived in both the countries.

@shandc6049 ... It's about the overall environment, not just one aspect. USA's crime rate, school shootings, and gun laws, to name a few, are concerning. Secondly, Canadians are respected all around the world while on the other hand Americans are always under the radar due to poking nose in each and every matter. Also, you can do business in the USA, being a Canadian citizen ... there is a tax treaty in place between the USA and Canada so you can have the best of both the world. Last but not least, the government uplifts the middle class in Canada ... lot of incentives and a lot of benefits .. while the USA, being a bigger market, provides opportunities, but you are pretty much on your own. One can have presonal favorites.. but .. both Canada and the USA are land of opportunities ... that's for sure.

NO not in thousand years and even if you are a Muslim .. so then you thought of Migrating to Canada,, fair enough Canada is not perfect but if religious alignment is your priority then why did you even think of going to a western country , you would be better of in Saudi ( not even UAE) or back in Paksitan ( let me clarify what I am saying is not against Muslims I would say the same to a Hindu who might go to the west and then start complaining that there is no holiday on Diwali etc) and no I am not a Christian or Jew or a Canadian

Before comparing Canada, lets pray that Muslim countries (who have resources) start providing permanent residencies/citizenships and establishing themselves as true welfare state. Irrespective of your ethnicity (Arab or non-Arab) all must have equal rights like health care, child benefits, education plan, recreation facilities, workplace rights etc. and not how people of dark skin are treated at Middle Eastern airports or at work places for renewal of Iqamas. The class difference in Dubai will leave you traumatized.

I know sooooo many families in Canada and they choose to stay and are happy with Schools etc. Yes, Healthcare can have have issues at times. You can have issues with parental consent at School and all, but many of his reasons are just straight up bigotry and prejudiced. His explanations of the Schools/Parental consent and so called "wokeness" are so exaggerated.
As far as integrating in the society, then is this a bad thing? I find it better than living in communal ghettos of UAE. How many Emiratis sheikhs and their kids are your friends. Do you all your kids go to the same schools. How much opportunity you get to do the same in ME. You will always be a 2nd class citizen in UAE. In Canada you have the same rights as the Prime Minister as much as you claim that White won't except you. It is on you , and not on them to integrate in the society, and Canada goes out of its way to facilitate that.
Such weak wannabe points. Don't like Canadian values then don't keep its Passport. UAE serves one right by not giving Passport. Make your own home country a better place and live there if you want your 3rd generation to be one. Kids grow up with the best of both eastern-western values all the time in the west. Be loyal to it.

Very low quality stuff not expected from you Wali. I mean your other videos are good and full of information but with your hosts it's mostly individualized and show only limited view of the guests.
Btw I like your videos minus the ones with such guests
    Cheers.

Wali has some vendetta against Canada and he is always hell bent on making Canada seem the worst country in the world.. and he will prompt and gaslight guests in such a way that they badmouth and generalize based on some isolated incidents..

Anyone can have any opinion and strive to do better for their own family.
I don’t have any vendetta - the world is open. It would be hypocritical for anyone telling aspiring immigrants it’s all cool coming to Canada just like 10 years back.
People can make their educated working based on conversations.
No one denies the benefits of Canada - it’s up to the individual

@@WaliKhan_2k I didnt hear any mention of benefits or the plus points.. only a one sided discussion focused on negatives by someone who has a Canadian passport already. So this is a misleading video. Perhaps if you want to highlight only the negatives than the guest should be someone who went to Canada and returned without taking the citizenship. Please tell me any one of your videos focused on the positive sides? All of them have a couple of positives compared with 10 negatives.

@@WaliKhan_2k I agree Canada has got worse, from 5 years ago but not as bad as you portray it. Please invite someone who is not based in GTA or vancouver (most expensive cities) for a discussion. We are a family of 3 live in Southern Ontario comfortably AlhamdulillAH on a single income... so don't spread misinformation. Savings increase over time if you use the available tax benefits and save smartly and stay here for the LONG TERM. If you plan to stay Long term, you will do equally well as in Dubai along with a passport even as a middle class as compared to top corporate job in dubai, if you stay here only for a passport then you will leave empty handed.

This guy makes Canada sound like a third world country 😂 - there are issues in all countries, it a choice where you want to live & what’s important.
Our choice of immigration shouldn’t be only based on monetary factors, the quality of life has a lot of other factors. Also if you want to avoid crime live in a good area with low crime rate …
The question of morality also is personal choice plus no guarantee how your kids will grow up in Pakistan where deceit and lies are second nature …

Mr. Wali Khan you talk about rule of law in Dubai.. how come stolen cars are ending up in your favourite UAE? Is there no check and balance? You intentionally try to defame Canada because you can never immigrate there now and UAE will never give you a passport... please be reminded that (GTA) Toronto is not Canada.. New immigrants need to live in places other than GTA... UAE is built on the back of cheap slave labour from countries like pakistan. In Canada there is a minimum wage for everyone

Apart from all other people let’s talk about regulated professions . As soon as you pass licensing exam you’re never left jobless . You can find your own job one after the other in a snap 🫰.
We are pharmacists both of us and all know there is $0 value for this profession in Middle East and Pakistan.
After licensing exam we have never looked back , among the top six figure earners each one of us . We pay highest taxes to the govt 35% and still able to save and have a life with vacations and supporting kids and family .
All made possible due to Canada , where our profession is respected .
And we follow Islamic values more than Pakistan here , how can we say Canada is not the land of dreams come true
