Things have been pretty 'iffy' among those of my exceptionally large family. Four members are in dire health, two of them near death's door. Myself and several others, all over 60 now, are doing our best to cope with things like cancer, broken spine from a car wreck, loss of legs due to accident during wild fire rescue...and our children / grandchildren of course, are all asking 'why' / Why is this happening? Doesn't God love us? When I came in here to relax my worried mind...it was YOUR message that gripped hold of my heart. How unselfish you are to have reached out to total strangers with such compassion. I just had to thank you! Prayer is a powerful tool. I feel better just knowing its ok for me to sit here and thank you. Tomorrow will be a day filled with the care of my poor brother / sister in law both dying and aching for me to 'help' them ?? stress is so high. I smile and hold them and do all I can...but cannot speak of my cancer or my other life issues...gotta keep it to myself...God knows. Others I've mentioned live too far away but still...I know they'll need to talk and unload over the telly later in the evening as I do too to specific individuals when 'things' get to piled. I'm thankful for God's ministers who pray over me and show they care. I need them all as I think I neededyou too...God must surely have known you were there too. Be safe and well.... I'm an old man, so forgive me a longish story: after listening for a while, the floodgates of memory burst open and I knew what this music reminded me of: I graduated from high school in 1978, and in the mid-to-late 80's, a friend from high school rented an apartment that was basically the upstairs of an old Victorian house (I remember listening to the radio while helping her paint her bedroom, and hearing the first reports of the Chernobyl disaster coming in). After she got settled, she held a sort of semi-weekly party/salon for a group of our high school friends, girlfriends, and assorted new friends that had stayed in the area after high school and college (the area being Roanoke, VA). I remember climbing out of her bedroom window onto the flat roof of the porch below. A bottle or two would pass around, we looked at the stars, and we talked about life, the universe, and everything. That's MY memory embedded in this music - the best of good times. Probably impossible to repeat in the smartphone era, alas.

I've only ever heard Jazz in movies/TV shows. It's always felt extremely comforting. I seek it out more and more now.

Some of their family members have asked me for this UA-cam channel because their mom or dad tells them that they enjoy when I play the music during dinner time and they wish all the workers would do it too. I'm so glad I can make such a difference in their lives! My job is extremely stressful but things like that make it worth all the stress!

Let me tell you what this video means to me. I discovered it about a year ago and ever since then I have listened to this to soothe my anxiety after my mom died, when I felt lonely and afraid to sleep because my best friend wasn't home, to slow dance to with my very first boyfriend, to clean my house, on a long road trip to ease my anxiety, I've also worked on my novel with this playing, and I have cooked with it in the background. My best friend, who's also my room mate, always giggles and texts me and says "I can hear you listening to your jazz video in your room :)". She then knows either I'm working on my book, stretching, cleaning my room, or perhaps I'm trying to relax or maybe I need some comfort. This is, in fact, the sound track of my life and I love it!

Reminds me of my sister's old club in Houston called Jerry's Tower....my brother in law would sit at his piano and play all night long with the band in the background while the patrons danced lightly around the dance floor under the skylights that let the moon shine in on some nights...what a beautiful first memory of jazz....

There was a thunderstorm outside today. My mom and sister where outside and hadn't come back inside yet and I was starting to get anxious, so I searched up relaxing jazz and this came up. This beautiful jazz kept my mind off of the thunderstorm outside. Great job and keep up the good work.

You sit down take your coat off and enjoy the coffee with this jazz music in the background, and you keep wondering in the amazing New York night
