There is a documentary about him on UA-cam that I watched recently, and one of the things his press agent said was Don was the smartest, he was the richest, but he was never the prettiest and that bothered him. I really don't understand that, because I thought he was quite handsome. I think deep down inside he was an extremely insecure and unhappy man, which is sad. R.I.P.
