I've collected playbills via fan mail and ebay for several years, but have yet to start back up since Broadway reopened. I need to get some requests out next week and bring some new ones into my collection. Looking forward to seeing more!
Hi! I know I’m 2 years late, but I’ve got a question. Are you in Canada or the us? Because I’ve seen on your channel that you go see a lot of shows in Toronto, but you send a lot of fan mail. Im in Canada, and I know for SASE’s you need the stamps from United States to Canada which we can’t buy here in Canada. So if you are in Canada how do you get those stamps? Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense, I’m like half asleep right now 😭
Nice collection. I have gotten some nice ones from sending request letters. Most recent was Two Jews Talking signed by stars Bernie Kopell and Hal Linden. Not long ago I wrote to Hugh Jackman and he sent a Playbill signed by him and Sutton Foster.
Yes! You don’t even need to show them your ticket, just write them a letter saying you lost yours and your a huge fan of the show and what your experience was there, etc. you could talk about anything. Then ask them at the end if they could send a Playbill. Make sure you send a SASE with your letter! Which show are you wanting to get one from?
