Saw this last Monday off a 7hr flight and was blown away by Myles as MJ and the cast and production as a whole. Such a good show that I hope lives on for a good while.

They were his main inspirations yes and Bob Fosse was the choreographer that literally choreographed his main moves in the first place…. True legends !
Every scene they show us is perfect. The backup dancers are marvelous and the lead is brilliant. Great choreography.

It was a nice evening out, but the through line the writers chose to hang the story on didn't do it for me. Wish they lost the whole MTV interview subplot and focused more on Michael's life story, something I thought the Tina Musical did really well. Guess I left the theater not knowing Michael much better than when I went in. And if you're going to includeThriller and Smooth Criminal, why on earth did they leave out the iconic dances from the music videos?!? Those are essential parts of those songs. Sigh... Favorite part was Human Nature segment. And childhood Michael was AMAZING!
Myles Frost is BRILLIANT and the entire cast and team are incredible. I can't stop watching the UA-cams after seeing the show in person. Breathtaking and I am going back to New York to see it again. This is definitely worth it. So proud of Myles, his family and the MJ Musical team.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. The Fosse segment alone was worth the price of admission. Absolutely beautifully done. It pretty much left me breathless.
I had no idea he was one of MJs biggest inspirations, I'm not exaggerating when I say my head was exploding during that scene.

The “Workin’ Day and Night” motifs in the Fred Astaire dance section are so cool, cannot wait to see this show next month!
Watch "Girl Hunt Ballet" scene from Band Wagon and then watch "Smooth Criminal." You can see MJ's homage to Astaire. The scrim between Act 1 & 2 in the musical has his jotted notes and that's on it.

Finally, I had the chance to see with Myles Frost as Michael Jackson before he leaves. This was my first Broadway show, and it went beyond my expectations! This one is the best! I would see it again when I get another chance, and when it’s coming to Atlanta!
I cried at the end! What a fantastic musical! The live band was fabulous, the choreography job top notch! Best Broadway experience so far!
I saw this show last weekend and it was unbelievably amazing. I felt as though I saw a musical AND a concert. For a few hours, I felt like Michael was back! The talent is off the charts. BRAVO!
I saw this cast last Saturday for my birthday in NY and the entire cast was just incredible. You just have to go there and see and feel the energy live!

Saw the show for the second time last week and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Sitting front row center made me able to appreciate everything down to the smallest details. The choreography, the acting, the costumes…. In every single number like this one… but ESPECIALLY during THRILLER… which alone is worth the price of a ticket!!! Both times I went, Myles wasn’t there but his understudy Aramie Payton is a STAR and made me feel like I was watching THE MJ!! And Tavon Olds-Sample who plays Michael as a teenager and through the Thriller years needs to get more recognition because he is is also amazing! Also love the young boy who plays little Michael, as well as the actors who plays Joe and Katherine. What am I saying?? The entire cast is superb!! Do not miss this show!!! ❤️🔥🎼

Having seen this on Broadway NYC i can confidently say the video doesnt so it justice! MJ was a top 5 experience ive ever had in my life and will probably stay that way for the rest of my life.

As a dancer myself I watched this and cried my eyes out!! Michael inspired me in every way to just become a fluid dancer and choreographer!! Myles Frost is amazing!!
Beautifully narrated & choreographed. I really wish to watch the full musical someday live. Congrats to the entire team for making our King shine in broadway & TONY too! MJ is surely blessing you all from heaven 👏
I saw this last week with Jamal Fields-Green, one of the understudies. He was also amazing. I can see that Myles is possibly the better dancer which is huge for portraying MJ, but to me, Jamal was a cleaner vocalist and was able to capture MJ's unique tone. Both are incredibly talented and I'm not trying to make it a competition, but it just goes to show how talented MJ was as both a fantastic dancer and vocalist in one body and it would be nigh impossible for another single person to replicate that entirely. All in all it was a truly talented cast and a very emotional show. To all the media critics grumbling about how it doesn't address the allegations, this is because they want this alone to be MJ's legacy. Firstly, a musical is not a court of law and secondly the musical does in fact reference many rumours and media lies being circulated about MJ. The difference is MJ is given a voice in the show and is allowed to show us his pain. For anyone hoping to go and see a show that drags down MJ or makes sinister references without having done the most basic of research around the allegations, then that says more about them. This show celebrates that above all MJ was about music, hard work and the African American legacy.

Agree with you 1000% -- I've seen them both in the mJ role and they each have their own subtle interpretations of Michael... both of them are sick with it though and I was filled with the Uncle Mike spirit throughout both of their performances. The casting decisions are A-1 for this production and I am soooo looking forward to Elijah's interpretation... I am going to see him in July/August this year.
Saw it March 29th 2023 and I'm still blown away by their performances, it was so so SO GOOD. Worth every dollar. Learned afterwards that it was one of Myles' last performances. Would really love to have a recorded version of the show. Congratulations to all the cast and production team, you made my first trip to NY complete!

This is sooo good almost perfection, but something is missing. It just shows how amazing Michael was because as great as this is Michael had something extra that can't be captured or duplicated. But great job.
I just said the same thing. He was so sharp when he executed his moves. He can never be duplicated but the performance is awesome!
It's its own thing this Broadway but has MJ stuff added to it and it's really cool and I hope it goes on dvd eventually

What is missing is the punch in singing and dancing. He is young, he didn't really catch Michael's golden alive... seen him live and feeling the WORLD chanting with him, the vibrational experience is a WHOLE different from today's.
He said he promised Paris and Prince that he would not “impersonate” Michael.

I just got home from seeing this! It is a phenomenal show, and Myles Frost gave one of the best performances I have EVER seen on stage!! He certainly deserved that Tony award he won! Bravo!!!! 🎉

I have to say, the cast album for this show has to be the best one I’ve heard. Sure, there are other jukebox musicals out there, but MJ the Musical’s cast album comes the closest to sounding like an actual pop album-or like one of Michael Jackson’s albums. You’ve swung for the fences and it’s paid off.

Michael Jackson had such a captivizing presence. This guy is good, I give him a lot of credit but there really is no comparison, just my opinion. And I don't think people realize how much work MJ put in to make that type of persona possible for any one human being 🕺🏽

I saw this on Broadway last night. It was amazing. I learned so much about MJ’s career that I didn’t know, and every performer KILLS the choreo and singing. Go see this show.
Great job by the cast and Myles, but it will never look as smooth and effortless as Michael Jackson himself. People have been trying over and over again, but still it doesn't measure up. That is the greatness of MJ.

saw it this weekend and I was blowed away holy shit he is good, actually all three actors that play MJ (different stages of his career) were really good, oh my god the child actor was just amazing, now Myles is just, I dont have words. At the end he was dancing right, doing splits and shit, and lifting himself from the floor with his legs I cant even explain what kind of voodoo that was, but it happened, and it was amazing!
That sideways moonwalk was dope as hell.

Crying and speechless. I had the honor of seeing Michael and his brothers in concert in the early 80s, and it was life-changing for me. To see this excerpt of this musical...I can't help but think how proud MJ would be.
