at first i had no idea where you where going with this, you were mixing the black and pink and i'm just sitting here 'how the hell is this going to work' then everything started to come together and im just flabbergasted i would NEVER have thought to make a caterpillar like this and i love it! thank you i cant wait to add these to my fairy garden.
Ok so I stumbled across this channel because I was just messing around on UA-cam and I've watched a couple of videos and at first all I was thinking is 'she makes really cool art and I like her accent' and then you said "feetsies" at which point I completely lost my mind and that made me so happy. Plus one sub for you!
Awwww :) I LOVE them!! Great idea to do using a cane! It would be fun to make up a bunch in funky colors and put in the garden as a practical joke for friends and family. ;)
I like how you show us, using the pasta machine instead of saying, go to another video for pasta machine tutorial. I am a newbie at polymer clay and the pasta machine and want to watch a whole video with all the steps in one.
Very noice. If i ever get into sculptures enough to buy colors, i'd definitely do this. Because i've always loved animals and how things like moths and butterflies change, i had a lot of memories with caterpillars.
Absolutely fantastic! C'est epoustiflante! Not only is the caterpillar gorgeous, but the technique is fascinating, and you did a remarkable job demonstrating it in a no-nonsense fashion: it was fast, with no wasted effort, edited brilliantly, and I wasn't bored for one moment! I'd love to see more such incredible videos from you! You're an amazing artiste! 👏🏼
Thank you SO much! I used your video to make 12 Monarch caterpillars for the Into the Forest collaboration. After I made mine, I saw yours are also going "Into the Forest"!
Did you use a pasta maker or rolling pin? Ive tried twice now with a rolling pin and on the final step of reveal, my slices look nothing like the ombre effect they should😔
Hi Steph! I'm so impressed by your use of caning for this project I just might give it a try! I have never made a cain before but I will have to give it a go, my granddaughters would love the outcome!! So cool, Laura
really beautiful, I love all you have done with your videos to bring this lovely art, your a very talented and inspiring lady, love watching you make them👍🐛🐜
I love the Alice in Wonderland idea too. That's another project on my list of projects I wanna make. This tutorial will give us a great start. Thank you Stephanie!
hi, i want to know what paints we can use on polymer clay and what kind of glaze? like for example if i have a flat plate of polymer and i make a portrait over it, what paint and glaze i must use to protect the surface and colors from damaging? thank you
Great video! They are very good but I think you may have got the mouth mixed up with the thoracic legs as when you look at a picture they can look like a mouth but other than that it was really good piece of artwork :)
fabulously easy...tho I have to stick to a roller lol...lovely items to add to indoor plants ....have subscribed after seeing a few of your vids now..addictive! thanx for creating your channel ;)
+Anne Maveera Yes, I have raised many caterpillars, Harry became quiet small, though he was a pretty big caterpillar! ^-^ His wings were pinkish-orange and he was a moth kindof thing...you know...the ones that look like hummingbirds! :)
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat It is always lovely to have caterpillars, except the fact, they eat a lot! :D Harry ate birch leaves and made his cocoon into the ground!
So chubby and adorable! I love the techniques you took to achieve these little guys. You make it look easy!
in all honesty, that one's fairly easy :) and quite fun too!
thanks!
Who would've thought I would find you in a polymer clay video's comments section?! Hi, I'm a subscriber xD
Why did it take UA-cam so long to recommend your videos to me?! Your work is incredible. I'm binge watching all your videos. :)
GummyTumor right?!
I've been so inspired by her work, it's so beautiful.
These are the cutest little caterpillars. Thank you.

A wonderful tutorial. You make something that looks so difficult, look like I could manage to make it. Thank you.

It's Incredible!
So Cutie
do you plan out your projects by drawing/sketching first or do you just plan as you go?
I often "ugly sketch" before, as in, make a very fast concept sketch in just a minute or so and then I go from there, planning as I sculpt.
Love! So much inspiration! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
Thank you :)
Very cute, I love watching your videos, you do very cute work on your animals

Woooooowwwww 💞💞💞
:D
I'm going to try blue and black
oh yes, that's a great color combo!
This caterpillar reminds me of my last caterpillar that I raised up! He was green, but had this kindof texture! He was called Harry. :)
Omg, you raised caterpillar!! Did he become butterfly? What colour is his wings?
ooh, you raised a caterpillar?
We had one on our raspberry plant that made a cocoon, we didn't see him hatch though.
+Anne Maveera
Yes, I have raised many caterpillars, Harry became quiet small, though he was a pretty big caterpillar! ^-^ His wings were pinkish-orange and he was a moth kindof thing...you know...the ones that look like hummingbirds! :)
