I was there 20 yrs ago today. I don't have the words to describe that experience!
Me too!
The crowd levitation is something that I cannot ever forget. Most Spiritual experience i ever had. We all lifted off the ground for the famous tall boy testify. If you were there you know.
I was there♡
I flew with you
@@heatherbradford5687 Cheers!
more of panics legendary historically true mysterious and majestic events. Aka panic magic.
✈️😇❤️🙏🏽
LSD and miss Molly transported me to the nether realms somewhere inside that song. I came to and I was the last one in the stadium-completely disoriented like I had just been transported back to Earth. It was fkn wild
Levitation is the perfect word for that moment. There never was a greater moment in live music than that one.
That blue Indian was gut wrenching to watch. Majority of the crowd was in tears.
My brother Bronson was there and turned me on to this Bonnaroo CD🥰☮️😊
Hey Now, Yeah right about the time of this show David Schools was also playing with Gov't Mule I believe. And it was the last time I would ever get to see Houser play. All in all I think I have seen Panic play 30 something, maybe 40x. This concert will always stand out as a special one! Love you and miss you Mr Houser. Once saw Mickey Hart wearing a shirt that said "Houser Lives"!
Schools and mule were killing it around this time. Best mule shows I ever attended. He did a great job of helping mule through the loss.
The first three bonnaroos were absolutely epic. If you attended 1/3 you understand. The lineups were insanely perfect. This is how cool it was, my crew bought a keg to the keller Williams incident which was an experience. I remember it was a choice between moe, Keller Williams incident and maybe particle all playing the midnight sets. I forget which band either moe or disco biscuits played till 4 or 5am one of those irrelevant bands you only catch super high and nothing else going on. The hells bells KWI opened the second set was a great surprise. Closest fest to those was hangout in 2010 I think right after the BP oil spill f'd up the gulf
Galactic rolled in on a Mardigras float for one of those midnight sets. I want to say they played opposite moe.? That week changed my life. Always end up looking for this WP set, though. What magic!
Yes it was😊
@@drugznbass1106 so true
i remember this. this bonnaroo was a legendary experience.
zinxderobo best festival ever along with the first Rothbury. Lucky enough to be at both.
Hey Now, Yeah I was at this show! The very last time I got to see Houser play. For some reason I knew it too. First time I ever saw Panic play, they were in Atlanta & they were opening for a band I had seen numerous times called "The Grapes", (previously known as "The Dreadful Grapes") at a tiny little place called The Metroplex. I remember them covering "Tangled Up In Blue" cuz that was one the Grapes played a lot, so I knew the Grapes were not going to play it. Years later I was lucky enough to be able to talk with David Schools & I mentioned to him that that was the first place I ever saw them. He replied "Omg that place was a dive!" I said "Yeah, ya'll have come a long way since then"! He grinned a big shiny grin.
Remember the fireworks with diner?
Yes it was

We were there! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🙏🏽🔥🙏🏽🔥🙏🏽🔥🙏🏽. One of best shows ever.
was there
Gretchen Long me too ;)
Just thinking damn who ever attended is probably in their 40s now but early 2000s was the peak and end of the family style scene we loved. Now bonnaroo imo is a lollapalooza knock off now. All the festivals are weak. All good isn't the same, Electric Forest Fest was better when it was Rothbury. Lockin' is the only one that has kept it real. Things change what can you do
40 goin on 41. And I thought Mikey and the boys were old back then.
I’m 42
Anyone know how Michael could be playing on 6/22/2022 when he died 6/10/2022. I was at this show and swear it was him.
He died on Aug 10, 2002
@@shawnwilkerson8711 Oooh ok I can't read. Thanks for clarifying. During that show I was up in the front row, and there was a moment when we locked eyes and he was communicating with me telepathically. It was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. RIP Michael
I’m pretty sure this is a 2001 first Bonnaroo (not 2002). Hauser passed from cancer soon afterwards.
2002 was the first one
Housers last Summer tour in life and roo 1 was in 2002.
