The verb to call is an important verb and has many meanings and expressions. For example; Call out (to say something laudly), Calling on the phone, visit, meeting, order sb to come, call it a day.. etc. Thanks for the lesson🙏

First of all thanks teacher Paul for explaining "call". It is most often used. At 4:39 , I don't get it why we should use "to" when calling a person near by? I called my friend vs I called to my friend. Could you please explain this part?
