    This song is dope but the setting is way too antiseptic for the band's aesthetic and sound.

      I see what you're saying, but as a newcomer to the band, this showcases their sheer ability to sing and play their instruments that the studio versions I've heard so far do not. The "official" version of this song is good too, but there are enough studio tricks in it that it's good to get this version to see how much of the credit they deserve for that (answer, BTW, is "pretty much all of it").
      Glad to discover them.
