That's pretty courageous. Cool video, and very useful for those of us considering a purchase. My main concern about this model is my fear of annoying other motorists, but as long as it can keep up on back roads, the Navi is viable, I guess. Thanks!
i live in a high traffic city and no problems in the city , a navi can keep up with traffic . when i go on highways not freeways 😁 I have no traffic problems at all . when a car is behind me I go on the shoulder and let car go by and i go back to the traffic lane. i ride on highway at 40 - 45 mph. With plenty of throttle left. P.S. I'm 77 yrs old. Just stay super alert .
P.S. my navi has 2,600 miles.on it with 0 problems so far. its a 2022 , I plan on getting another one. I do all my own maintenance on mine . UA-cam is great for learning how to do maintenance.
Great video, nice editing. Beautiful winter scenery as well. I don't know how you can ride in cold weather like that. My legs always get cold, lol. Can't wait to see more adventures!
We greatly appreciate the feedback! Wearing a layer underneath the jeans helps, but honestly a good pair of multi-season riding pants is the way to go. This ride was very cold at the end lol. Thanks for watching!
I live in VT. I had to do 150 mi just to re-up my expired motorcycle endorsement. Test and all. On the Navi. And still went to work afterward. Long live the tug hill!
Excellent! You're so cool! I'm 63 and I think you're like me, young at heart and in the head! That's the secret of aging well! I've been riding for 33 years. I'm 63 now. Thanks for a great vdo!
My son lives about 225 miles from me and I was wondering about how a trip like that would be and I’m 66, man I can’t believe your riding with all that snow on the ground! I’d be frozen
Boomer here, definitely do the trip to see your son on the Navi, split it up into two days, Good luck and tell me how it was when you get back. The Navi is a great way to travel. Thanks for watching.
Groms are perfect for long rides, I never take the highway. Had a 2014 Grom back in 2014, sold it to buy a bigger bike, sold the bigger bike because I I hated it, got me a CB300R. Crashed the CB300R into a deer at 60mph, now the CB is dead... So I'm going to buy a new Grom soon, back to basics and pure fun 😊
I bought one in 2018 which was a 2016 model that was made in India, until now still hold up very well, only problem was there's was no replacement part in Cambodia, now already got 33,080 km on it.
You had me curious when you said Tug hill. I live in NYC and obsessed with getting a honda Navi. How do you prevnt it from getting stolen. Any good locks. I want one just for going on small trails. Just worried as I have kids and dont want to crash. Any advice. Would love to throw it in my pathfinder and explore Catskills NY upstate.
nice video.....I keep coming back to the navi as the most economical and best step up from the 50cc's......what measures are you taking to prevent theft?
We don’t have 1500 miles on this bike yet, but like anything once it’s broken in it’ll open up a little bit, however I believe the break in is much shorter than 1500 miles on a small engine like this
Aren't you worried that you were going a bit hard on it? The break in period is like 300 miles right? What harm can be done by driving it hard like this with like zero miles on it?
Yeah I'm glad I saw your video man you remind me of my old friend rest in peace David from the gambling casino in Missouri your voice everything he said he has some kids but I know this is a good by I'm getting one delivered Tuesday man you the best keep those videos coming
@@ericg.7053 Probably around 230lbs with gear and the Navi is still capable of 45mph maybe 50mph on flat roads. We have experienced that the Navi is noticeably slower than the Grom but of course that is to be expected. The cool part is that you can always just ride down the shoulder and let people pass as you see in the video. Thanks for watching!
Boomer here, thank you for the awesome comment, keep watching, new videos coming. The bearded stick and I have been helping a friend with his bicycle shop and haven't had time for new videos recently, sorry.
This is literally the worst way to break a new Navi in, they want different rpm ranges, and it says no long constant throttle, especially during break in period. I wish you the best sir, but don’t be surprised if your Navi has issues in the future
@@Sunandstar13 Believe us we’ve had plenty of these small bikes and they have all been ridden wide open most of the time, these small engines are very tough especially with frequent oil changes at least every 1,000 miles or even sooner when they’re brand new.
hello I'm 52 and I live in Nova Scotia and I always drive my Navi in the snow it has over 7000 on it now ✌️😎🇨🇦
Always great to hear people putting the miles on these little bikes! Thanks for watching!
How do u stop from waiving around?
You sir are a badass. I drove mine home(no helmet) for 8 miles and about died.
😂😂 Thanks for watching!
LMAO
This is awesome. Just picked mine up a few weeks ago. Got a little over 200 miles on it
Congrats on the new bike! Thanks for watching!

Beautiful, i have 1 mile on my Navi in red. Weather is similar in the Midwest-- cant wait to “rip it” 😅❤
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching, hopefully you’ll be able to get a ride in soon!

how many times did you get gas?
Tank size is .9 gallons and it gets somewhere around 80MPG so roughly 2 tanks of gas

How tall are you?? What do you weight?? This bike seems to fit your size pretty well.
5’9” and 215 pounds, the bike does surprisingly well
I've done it on a 125cc scooter through Texas hill country. Pretty touch and go. 😊
Nicely done ✔
Thanks, we have been slacking on the videos, sorry. More new videos to come, we have been helping a friend with his Bicycle shop.

¿cual es la velocidad promedio recomendable para un viaje largo?

Honda engines are just about bulletproof so you don’t really have to worry about it as long as you change the oil often. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video very informative.

glad you are promoting neutral selection buddy!
While it's not a freeway bike I use it for my 25 mile commute everyday. I hit 1,000 miles in about 6 weeks
