Hey Kevin, did you know you can do a step back without double-tapping the right stick or holding R? If you pull the left stick down left or down right and hold the right stick down left or down right, you can do a step back, pull up, or switch back step back.
Thank you for this gem! This should be featured on 2k tv. Excellent breakdown. Follow this blueprint and it will take your game to the next level. Great stuff as usual so keep em coming.
I'm reuploading it later, taking away some of the extra detail in the intro to get into the combos directly. Not sure people appreciated the longer intro about how to create a shot creation system, so I'm trying again.
@@KevinCruz016 ohh okay i was wondering where it went lmaoo but i feel you on that it was still a good video i love seeing the irl playstyle because everyone literally plays the same it’s sad honestly.
My opinion on high layup is you got to go really high to be truly devastating. They nerfed layups a bit this year compared to in 24. There's also a number of important things to consider for layups, like strength, and close shot! So I'll discuss this in a separate video soon!
Alright so ive been waited for you to to release the new curry step back in order to buy this game. It opened my game up so much. I used it and was able to devolep my game even more and it was thanks to you showing me the curry step back i have a game and clips on my youtube if youd like to check them out.
Would you be able to create a video covering dribble tutorials for all types of builds. For example, your chef curry covers guards but would you be able to break down normal dribble styles for bigs with low ball handle and everything in between to high ball handle builds? If this doesn’t make sense then that’s fine! I’m new to 2k so just a thought thanks for the uploads!
This makes perfect sense! I have one up for bigs! I’m also gonna create a system for bigger guards and wings! The goal is to have as much shot creators covered for different types of builds! The BEST ISO BIG MAN Dribble Tutorial in NBA 2K25! BEST DRIBBLE ANIMATIONS for 6"10 and Up Builds! ua-cam.com/video/E9GLWFmh37c/v-deo.html
I lowered my steal to low enough just to get bronze badges was the only adjustment I made! Used a plus one cap breaker on three point, and kept driving dunk at 80, vertical at 65, and pass acc to 78!
As a big man who has a high mid range but no shifty shooter badge, do you have less success taking hop jumpers and fading dribble pull ups compared to those with shifty shooter? Or will the high mid range be enough to consistently take hop jumpers/dribble pull ups as a big man?
I will say that shifty shooter helps a lot. But taller players have the advantage of space and length that should make you more open if you use the right move. You’ll be fine, as long as you do enough to create an open shot.
Man sometimes as teammates you gotta be patient especially if the process is right. I’ve started games 1/4 before but all the shots were good shots. If the shots are good but you just miss, you should still get the opportunity to contribute
I like everything that you presented in the video except the wrap around the ball handler part…wouldn’t that be considered bad spacing? But good job on the rest of the video 👍💯
I didn’t stand still next to the ball handler, so think of it as something like a dribble hand off action except he only passed it to me when I went to the open space!
My belief is that while small guards get a lot of benefits, they are always going to be cooked by a bigger guard if you build it right. I'm going to do a Booker type build for my next build, but have some PG properties still. But I'll do a big guard combo system for my next set of videos once I'm done with the Steph Curry system!
I’ve been trying to rythm shot off the dribble with the hop jumper but I consistently get slightly late timing , then when I say ok I’ll just release a bit quicker to get a better timing then I get fast tempo, IT FRUSTRATING BECAUSE IM GETTING LATE!! , then soon as I release the ball sooner to compensate for the slightly late now I get a whole different issue with fast tempo ! 🤦🏿♂️
I have a few kill moves and funnily enough, most of them utilize Curry's hop jumper 😂 He has at least 3 different animations that can be used as a combo ender. It's just too good.
I’m making my way to the big guards, but Devin Booker hop jumper, and the right leaners are my shot moves. Tatum hop jumper if you’re a post player, and simple triple threat moves to get open. If you watched my devin booker build for 24, that should give you an idea on how I’ll develop a system for wings.
@@Seli6358 i got 88. Since you got legend badges you’ll be fine with an 84, but if you buy shooting boosts and use takeovers that add to the middy. All the better! But either way you’re good!
@@Seli6358 I got Chef as my first take right now, but then I am aiming for nuisance as my other take. I'll probably go Nuisance most of the way once I have it fully unlocked
The combination of high risk-reward, rhythm shooting is really money for me across all game modes man. Button shooting got better post patch, but it's still not as consistent as it was in 24. Rhythm shooting on high risk is the sauce. But if you still want button shooting, high risk is still the way I'd recommend.
I mean dude taking the jumper at 0:45 isn’t doing nothing wrong.. that’s a good screen and a good shot.. the game won’t let us hit those 50% of the time, and that’s what I miss.. il absolutely cook someone on the 3pt line lock in on my cue but still miss, unless I shoot from corners, the corners are consistent
His mistake was overdribbling, and not shooting it when he had 2 seconds of open space. The point was that he was not creating with purpose and just spamming moves for nothing only to miss an open shot. Shooting after dribble moves or even triple threat idle animations mixes up the timing in your shots. If you just plant your feet you get more consistent timing
Thank you I play random and squad rec no matter what build I’m on I’m have the most points 9/10 times but I do take most shots but at a high clip 60% fg and 50% from 3
Didn't really bash it, but I bashed how the player was using it. He had an open shot even before he entered the spam combos only to miss it is my point
That Curry side hop jumper gets different animations if you activate while getting bumped. Its so nice!
Real hoops no left right or fruity dribble moves 🔥🔥🔥
Exactly 💪💪
Facts. I think Kev the most entertaining 2k content creator as far as playstyle
Yessir how we like to do it here!!
Fruity dribble moves😂😂😂

Cruz, please do a video for bigger players 6'8-6'10... its a struggle to move/create as one this year

Yessir, just what I was waiting on! High IQ basketball on display! Good stuff, Kev! Are you still using Cam Thomas dribble pull up?
