That’s literally not true. You can see in the semi-finals that Gogeta emptied the arena and in the next round, the finals, the crowd was back for the Vegito fight. Then Doto started up another tournament with the empty tournament arena starting as the default.
14:00 BT3 actually modified some aspects specifically for tournaments Your recovery rate is boosted (nearly doubled) when knocked back And unlike SZero, you dont get blasted away by supers n beams just slid some steps back
Also the characters in BT3 doesn't immediately fall off to the ground when launched horizontally from the stage or walking off, they hover keeping the same level above ground.

they fixed everything up from bt3 to be more ergonomic and make more sense, lovely to see how much inspiration and improvement stemming from bt3 gameplay and mechanics
You can skip the intros in singleplayer. And I like them being unskippable for online matches because there's not a countdown (3, 2, 1, fight!!) before the match starts, so it gives you time to prepare and see the other player's name and tittle.
I am a little frustrated about all the glitches though. There’s one that makes it so I can’t use my abilities in ranked, there’s one that glitches out ringouts in world tournament, etc. but I trust the devs

@@kmartcentral3580nope you can do that in air too when you get knocked back. In bt3 your recovery speed depended on your hp if you had green hp bar you will recover fast. As your hp will go down you will lose your recover speed like yellow hp has slower recovery red even slower. You don't wanna get knocked down or be close to grass i think players will soon find way to recover fast.

Consistently putting out vids with these fights that give the same feeling as watching a master class anime fr. The clutch at the end of the last tourney was wild and I remember a few standout ones from some fighterz vids too. Always appreciate the content my guy

14:04 BT3 has a safety net in place that requires a smash attack to ring someone out with, this allows for the non flying characters to float just above the 'kill zone' and the stands had an invisible wall to keep people from ringing out on the environment. That's why you would get those weird inconsistent ring outs on the outer wall in that game.
