I'll never understand why the Old Man chose the Robocop 2 chassis after seeing its limitations. With the resources at his disposal, he could have built himself a better body.
That's what he was trying to do with the Afterlife project, but it was unsuccessful and then canned by Becker. My guess is that this is why he used Robocop 2, desperation. He had no other option since attempts to build a reliable cyborg body had failed.
It's a nonsensical addition just to have more stuff from the movies in the game. There's no reason for him to be transplanted into a fully armed, faceless body, or to lose his mind and behave in the same way that the nuke junkie did. But I was fully prepared for that ending after all the eyerolling references the game had.
my GOTY. atmosphere was so dense at times, loved the cramped and dirty alleys and secrets everywhere. seeing the conference room and old steel mill made me smile. literally 100% the same as in the movies.
I like how the game still made efforts to somehow connect the threads to RoboCop 3 which is probably the most disliked one in the trilogy. Usually they would act like those never happened or even straight up retcon it

Oh. I get it. He's the 'Old Man' who runs OCP in the first two movies, but is absent in the third. This explains why. He used a copy (or the repaired original) body of Robocop 2, but got killed anyway.
It's not a reconstruction of the "Robo Monster," it was the cyborg that was going to be used permanently as part of the "Robocop 2" program. Suicide Robo-prototypes were less intimidating.
I got the good endings for the support characthers (spoilers ahead): Pickels: if you deny him the money from the VHS quest, he will go clean and be on the news by stoping a hostage situation on the cinema. Dr Blanche: if you got a human evaluation, she will manage to convince ED209 saving the actress and her book is promoted Washington: if he get positive support, he will become police and his news is about saving exotic animals from a restaurant Ortiz: if you help her to expose OCP, she will leave C9 and work in a small newspaper, C9 will present her as a terrorist and tell how she joint a guerilla group leaded by "Bertha" (R3 reference).
I think I got the good ending for all the other major characters. This one is the “bad” one for all of them. I’m curious if there are other combinations
Freakin' AWESOME that they got Peter Weller back as Murphy/Robocop! Also great to see that they decided Robocop 3 never happened. Good lord that movie SUCKED!
I think this game takes place between the events of 2 and 3, cause there's some things set up that imply that 3 will still be taking its course. Plus it should be noted that Murphy *generally* doesn't move around as humanly as he did here compared to around the end of the first movie, which is consistent with how he behaves in the second film.
@@uberschnilthegreat22 This very obviously is RoboCop 2,5 as OCP is still active with Old Man somewhat around. It was Kanemitsu that was Japanese company trying to buy OCP over in third and they had successfully created fully human-looking cyborg/robot.
Makes you think. This game takes place after Robocop 2 so it seems like OCP didnt learn there lesson the first time by Rebuilding Robocop 2 and yet Both Caine and Old Man Wrecked Havok and killed alot of people. Only difference was that i think It wasnt Old Mans Fault and Caine was Withdrawing which made him went nuts.
Yeah, Caine was a Nuke addict and he got aggro'd when one of the OCP suits started waving the shit around in front of him, Old Man seems to have become a victim of his company's own unreliability at making good cyborgs (Seriously, how many times has OCP made dud cyborgs across all 3 films? Murphy really got the lucky straw when you think about it).
@@uberschnilthegreat22 As disgusting it is to admit, Dr. Faxx was right about inherent mental fortitude being extremely important for RoboCop-conversion. Murphy and Cain were both successes and both were unusually durable mentally - Murphy because of his sense of duty and Cain because of his drug-fueled delusions. Also Cain's drug addiction he never got chance to physically recover from gave handy way of controlling him.
if you play differently Pickles survives and saves the cinema as an employee, the doctor defuses the situation with ED and the reporter becomes part of an underground media resistance. at least that's the ending i got.

@@nachonaitor5535 Cause the franchise is dead as a doornail and not worth the price of IP admission for the studio who owns the rights after Dark Fate. @@VerdeMorte The made Terminator Resistance in 2019 and made a DLC for it in 2021 both of which were after Dark Fate. Robocop was as dead or deader than Terminator after the travesty known as Robocop 3 and they still chose to make a new title out of that as well. They aren't doing this to make hundreds of millions of dollars, they're doing it to make (some) money and throw fans of these IP's that got shafted a bone, it's obvious they are fans of the old IP's because they have captured both the mood and atmosphere of both Terminator and Robocop in their games and even told better stories than either of these IP's were able to do in film for the past 30 years. I too would love for them to make a DLC for Rogue City just like they did for Terminator Resistance.
BabyZone, could you please change the title? There's no ending choices in this game as the old man will die anyway, which explains his absence in Robocop 3.
It is not correct that this is all endings. I didn't have the option to save the old man. The parts with the detroiters change as well. I got for example that Ortiz was suspected to be working with low-life woman named "Berta" and Mr. Washinton was a cop that made an arrest at that restaurant because of the ingredients used there.
What I never understood, the old man was so out of time and desperate that instead of becoming like Murphy, he insisted on getting his brain put into RoboCain’s old body?
I got the bad cinematic on almost everything. Samantha became a terrorist, Pickles got eaten, Dr. Blanche got traumatized (again), and everyone had a terrible opinion of Robocop (probably because I failed the first Protect and Serve and then gave one too many tickets). At least Ulysses became a good cop.
I just finished the game, I feel kind of bad now seeing as if I had chose to save the old man that he would have sacrificed himself for me. I chose to kill him lol. What a great game! Teyon has this down, I consider Terminator Resistance the true Terminator 3 and now Rogue City is the true Robocop 3 to me!
you're missing the good outcomes for the doc (Olivia), Ulyses and even Pickles --> there is a version of the news clip at the end that tells a different story if u actually helped the before mentioned trio.
The old man still die from rescuing Robocop out of falling debris. The most saddest part is when Robocop said the same "thank you" to the old man from the first movie.
Question: why does the titles promises ALL Endings, but there's only one? 3 different Choices, after the Final Boss, but only the bad endings are shown.
I was really hoping to hear all the different ways the side characters end up. That said, these were all different from my play through, so I guess that helps. Can't imagine anyone trying to screw over all these wonderful people.

Hopefully I'll get the true ending on my next playthrough really enjoyed that game lot of fun I'm torn between a 9/10 or a 10/10 because it had no modern day crap in it no queerness or wokeness and no political message crap either and that is all I want my games to be fun and no other crap 😌
@evilbunny1618 Yeah I helped Samantha too - all apart from handing over the data at OCP headquarters. I did get the Samantha channel 9 ending, so might of glitched out for you??
Ohhh I never knew Lewis was an option either, but yeah she came back to the force. I guess me asking the Old Man to help Lewis was that decision??
Yeah I thoroughly enjoyed the game too and will definitely play through it again, probably this tine going for a pure OCP Product route??
I started down that route and maintained I was nothing but a machine in my convos with Dr Blanche, but I guess all my actions outside of our meetings influenced her opinion that I was a human not a machine.
But such a fun time!!! 😍😍
@@imScottIronmonger Yeah Samantha's might have glitched the only I didn't do was go through her belongings and yeah I think telling the old man about Lewis is how to get that but I got to say that fighting 3 ED 209's was abit of a pain for me and which mayor is the best one to support do you think? I didn't know which one to support so chose neither, and that sounds good we get different endings so just be good to just pick upheld the law choices, I just been told that the game has 3 endings which is good I thought there was only 2 it is an awesome game I personally think it's better than their terminator game.
@evilbunny1618 Well I personally believed in Delta City, and I was pretty much torn in the latter stages of the game between wanting to support OCP but not agreeing with what they were doing to the police force. And when a game can make you feel and question your decisions you know the writing and game direction, as well as the acting is top quality!
So yeah to answer your question before my ramble 🤣🤣 (sorry about that) I personally think John Mills is the best, but that's simply bc it aligned with my own feelings. I guess whether it comes down to whether you believe in OCP's vision or not.
Yeah the ED-209's were a sod to deal with. I do feel the Steel Mill was the hardest tho. I was down to 20 health with no recharges when i bested him.
Ooo what decision with The Old Man did you go for?? I went with saving him.
FIY: did not see that twist coming. I thought it was going to be Wendel.
@@imScottIronmonger It's ok I don't mind ramble I do it too lol and yeah the steel mill was the hardest for me took me 2 attempts his rockets kept getting me, and it was a nice twist with Cain (old man version) when I seen him at the expo I was thinking how's he there isn't he dead but that twist I got to applaud them for that I didn't see it coming and he I was thinking how is his lighter making robo glitch but then realized that chip must have something to do with it, and that dead or alive you're coming with me line I feel that could've been delivered better other than saying it to Wendell when he already running away and I was thinking the whole game who's brother is he I was thinking Clarence but then that seemed a little obvious so was thinking could be Emil but I don't think it was revealed because I can't place wendells last name, and I too chose to save the old man I liked that he thanked him and I'm going to choose walk away and leave him next playthrough see what happens then.
He had no other option since attempts to build a reliable cyborg body had failed.
my guess? the devs didnt wanna go crazy and stuck with designs from the movies to have it coherent.
Isn't OCP went almost out of budget in the end? Not to mention Becker shut it down
Game had to have a final boss and this was a very good choice as you defeated ED 209 countless times before
It's a nonsensical addition just to have more stuff from the movies in the game.
Usually they would act like those never happened or even straight up retcon it
It has all the right elements of being a good RoboCop-film and botches them all. Wasted potential because of ineptitude and crippled budget instead of non-existent one. Tragic case of failure - there are ways movie can be bad and leave worse aftertaste.
@@vksasdgaming9472
The fact that Lewis still died instead of her OCP implants catching the bullets or something was the part I really couldn't forgive. They killed her off for mere shock value. Then the next production had the audacity to want to revive her as *the car...*
@@VerdeMorte She was not a cyborg so bullets did hurt her and there never was another production related to films until pointless remake came along.
@@vksasdgaming9472
Naw, she was a cyborg as stated at end of 1, *"They will fix her. They always do..."*
@@VerdeMorte "They'll fix you. They'll fix anything" and it was just Murphy's own statement to her. Nothing is said or shown about Lewis being cyborg after that.
Oh. I get it. He's the 'Old Man' who runs OCP in the first two movies, but is absent in the third. This explains why. He used a copy (or the repaired original) body of Robocop 2, but got killed anyway.
Dr schenck is alive so he can make more, even upgraded ones
It's not a reconstruction of the "Robo Monster," it was the cyborg that was going to be used permanently as part of the "Robocop 2" program. Suicide Robo-prototypes were less intimidating.
@@Axes_1138 So, it's not the same shell as the one Cain had?
@@omegarugal9283
Why wasn't she in the game as a villain
The leaving ending is based on every action you take. Including supporting or not supporting the mayors.
Id pay a smooth 40 bucks for a true open world Detroit dlc just for patrols and randomized crimes
GTA 5 with that police mod and a RoboCop body mod might be up your alley? But yeah, me too.
Psychiatrist Doctor Blanche gets a happy ending where she successful stops an ED and made a book called Coping With Lost.
I got the good endings for the support characthers (spoilers ahead):
Pickels: if you deny him the money from the VHS quest, he will go clean and be on the news by stoping a hostage situation on the cinema.
Dr Blanche: if you got a human evaluation, she will manage to convince ED209 saving the actress and her book is promoted
Washington: if he get positive support, he will become police and his news is about saving exotic animals from a restaurant
Ortiz: if you help her to expose OCP, she will leave C9 and work in a small newspaper, C9 will present her as a terrorist and tell how she joint a guerilla group leaded by "Bertha" (R3 reference).
Is that really the only decision that matters for pickles? I accidentally gave him the money when I meant not to lol
how does ther election of Mills and Kuzak affect the endings?
I tried denying the pickles the money he still got eaten by anaconda you can't save him
Wait the old man killed becker?! Huh he jist became my favorite character in this game could not stand that guy was a complete asshole to ole RoboCop
I think I got the good ending for all the other major characters. This one is the “bad” one for all of them. I’m curious if there are other combinations
I thought Kane would be the final boss
Kane's brain got smashed to mush. It'd be kind of hard to bring him back.
@@EclipseCircle i thought they were making the movies into games with the same story and characters and stuff
@@Thorax7x686this game timeline is between robocop 2 and 3
@@lujack1801 Just different showing
@EclipseCircle yup his brain was splatterd into pieces there's no way he's coming back
Freakin' AWESOME that they got Peter Weller back as Murphy/Robocop!
Also great to see that they decided Robocop 3 never happened. Good lord that movie SUCKED!
I'm not surprised Weller came back for the role, he's always been very invested in RoboCop. He even voiced him for his cameo in Mortal Kombat
@@NoelistAvenger This game kinda canonizes the third entry.
It takes place after RoboCop 2 but before RoboCop 3
Next up: Robocop vs The Terminator! It's the next logical step since the studio who made this game made Terminator: Resistance.
That would be something, and from what I saw here they got a lot of elements in this game from the old one
if you play differently Pickles survives and saves the cinema as an employee, the doctor defuses the situation with ED and the reporter becomes part of an underground media resistance. at least that's the ending i got.
Words cannot describe my excitement when I predicted the final boss would be Cain, or at least his Robocop mark II body. Cain for some reason is my favourite character, other than Alex Murphy himself of course.
The boss fight was perfect, great 80s action fun!
Would love to see a DLC like Annihilation Line for Terminator: resistance or even another Robocop game in the next years. Or maybe Teyon makes a Die hard game.
They're not likely to touch the Terminator franchise with a 10 foot pole for the next 5 to 10 years
@@VerdeMortewhy?
It would be awesome that they made Rogue City 2 with bigger budget and using general story beats of RoboCop 3 (it HAD potential) to make it actually good story.
@@nachonaitor5535
Cause the franchise is dead as a doornail and not worth the price of IP admission for the studio who owns the rights after Dark Fate. They have to wait it out, like Ghostbusters after 2016. No ESG money means the people that come into the IP next will need to pony up for it themselves.
No way I'm killing Old Man
Anne Lewis was a mentor for Alex. And it all boils down to one sentence: "Murphy, it's you."
BabyZone, could you please change the title? There's no ending choices in this game as the old man will die anyway, which explains his absence in Robocop 3.
The title is wrong. There is no "good", "bad", or "true" ending in this game.
No each character gets there own endings depending on you’re actions throughout the game lmao
Really hope they make more of these
I always wanted a robocop game
12:55 this segment aint showing the best endings, expecially for pickles you can get better endings for the individual characters
This is not all the endings. WTF.
Scrap yard or prison, creep? 😂😂
My choice: "I won't kill you... but I won't save you."
Bro my ending had Samantha working with terrorists 💀
Alternate choice
What I never understood, the old man was so out of time and desperate that instead of becoming like Murphy, he insisted on getting his brain put into RoboCain’s old body?
This game is brilliant. Just a shame the ending feels so rushed:(
13:01 - eaten by a snake, what a way to go out!
There might as well not have been a choice.
It looked more like there is only one ending and two options to miss it.
Teyon has this down, I consider Terminator Resistance the true Terminator 3 and now Rogue City is the true Robocop 3 to me!
i only had 2 options...leave him or kill him. i was like i'll put him out of his misery.
There are different endings when Ulysness Washington stayed aa officer, Pickles survive and when new mayor resigns.
The ending that leaded Robocop 3
Bruh wtf .... you got only the bad endings and your buddies got neglected XD
you're missing the good outcomes for the doc (Olivia), Ulyses and even Pickles --> there is a version of the news clip at the end that tells a different story if u actually helped the before mentioned trio.
What happens if you saved the old man I didn’t see the three options only saw to kill him
The old man still die from rescuing Robocop out of falling debris. The most saddest part is when Robocop said the same "thank you" to the old man from the first movie.
11:18 9/11 Reference!? O_O
Pretty much.
No matter what you do, the old man dies. Quite a fine example of illusion of choice.
This isn't all endings, the important part(the news stories at the end) you only showed 1 version of
What a good game, I loved the ocp boards for the gun
13:31
''Not adhering to its instructions.''
Since when did that matter for ED 209?
Counting the NPCs' fates, this game actually has many endings.
6:54 "GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!"
I guess due to the answers I gave Dr. Olivia she was able to de-escalate the situation with the ED-209 and save the sunblock models life.
I still can't believe pickles got ate by a python 🤣 it's a death that suits the character I suppose.
Question:
why does the titles promises ALL Endings, but there's only one?
3 different Choices, after the Final Boss, but only the bad endings are shown.
The choice you make with the old man hear makes zero difference. The dif endings are based on how you treat the dif chars in the game.
Probably my favourite game of 2023. I wasn't expecting much and it was really fun.
I was really hoping to hear all the different ways the side characters end up. That said, these were all different from my play through, so I guess that helps. Can't imagine anyone trying to screw over all these wonderful people.
I hope that there will be a DLC-minigame with ED-209.
Damn I didn’t know robocop suit gets damaged in the final fight. I had the robocop 2 suit on the whole game and it didn’t take damage
how long this game is?
I don't know
About 12 & half hours or so if you decide do several side missions
15 hours for me
Short. Thats how long 😢
That depends, if you skip out on the other side missions and just go through the main story. Then it'll be short to some
If you would discard the 3rd movie and replace this one as the 3rd with the last ending on it which the Old Man saved RoboCop, this would have been a better 3rd movie if it was been made then.
12:14 - Am I the only one who heard “I for one welcome our new insect overlords” 😂😂
Would be awesome if they have added a feature that let us play the action scenes without the story.
This game is good or worst?
Really good!!
@@Dracobyte okay.
Great above average
Is very good
BEST
Huh... I managed to get a good ending for Pickles, Dr. Blanche, and Washington - Ortiz on the other hand turned into a Terrorist 🤨
Which is hated more ROBOCOP 3 or ALIENS 3... both killed off beloved characters and never recovered from that alone
Robocop 3 is real bad movie. Alien 3 is great horror.
Is there an ending where Kuzak does fight for Robo's rights? I backed the MF for this reason because the intarwebz said that was the case and then it didn't happen...
Ahh yes, RoboMurphy, the angel made out of steel...
honestly, i didn't expect this game to be this good
So, developers explained why “Saving Him” is stupid idea 😅
I was hoping that if you saved him, you'd be brothers, like Stepbrothers. Playing pranks on each other and stuff! Wasted opportunity...
The old man is basically an anti villains.
Why did they put the oldman's brain into Robocain?
I loved this game. It was epic Peter weller is a class act
I wish there was a way to save Becker. His jerkfacedness grew on me especially after the bitches line.
Hears the old man’s plan. I mean okay but why use the R2 body?
I really liked how this game was based off the movies
its better then their terminator game. they improved and learned alot, but still have a way to go. less recycling of locations would be a good start. like with terminator: best movie based game, but just okish overall, as a game
Now remake Robocop vs. Terminator in this engine as an FPS 😁
13:49 How do I get that ending
Any terminator eastern eggs in the game??
This wasn't all the endings...
I haven't got the game yet but just wondering if they will have robo jet pack and his arm gun with the rocket for more use of weapons
No that's only in RoboCop 3 he use the jetpack
OH! That is funny.. Save? Kill? leave him to die? Doesn't matter! The final boss ends up dying regardless, making the dialog choices meaningless.
Shame the Old Man wasnt able to talk
I had a different ending than you had. pickles was a hero and so was the shrink
