Excellent video guys, My grandfather was a park ranger in this WMA when I was just a young pup. As I got older, I actually had some Long horns that were branded WR for the Wildlife Refuge. I have never been drawn for the Elk hunt and I am 47 this year. It is fun to see you guys get drawn in and have a successful hunt. Great Job guys. I hope to see more from your channel so I subbed y'all. PS, I took my wife down there in the Jeep this past summer, there is more and more ELK that have escaped the WMA and are on private land now, but most folks cant afford to pay what it cost to hunt on those private hunts either. When we was down there, she was a blu to see a decent size herd of cows, I spotted them and then we drove a loop on the old black top roads out that way and seen then cross the road, it was a fun time for both of us, I had never seen an Elk down there and she had never seen an Elk in her life., so It was a fun trip. @@SlickChuck777 Oh man, I cn say this, Congrats, That is a great hunt to get drawn out for. I wish I had some good info for you. I have visited there a hand full of times and the only time I have seen Elk out there was on private land not of Miers the little hamburger joint. I know there is some huge ones out that way, other than that, I truly dont know. Good luck and keep us posted on your hunt though.
