Do you carry mini scissors around with you? Let us know in the comments and give this video a like to see part 3 faster!
This was great! I’d love to see a comparison of the compact scissors too, e.g. the Raymay Pencut, Stickyle Tasuno/Akeruno, Midori XS Compact etc.)
I carry around a pink mini Raymay scissors everywhere. Disguised as a pen, cuts through cleanly and it's compact enough to fit in my pencil bag.
Yes I do and love that it’s so light
I don't have MICRO scissors, but I have carried a pair of little foldable scissors with me ever since my kids were little (20+years!) You always need them with little kids: cutting tags (they don't want to wait until we get home!), threads, first aid, getting gum out of hair🙄, and the biggest mom tip: cutting down the size of drinking straws (so handy!!!)
I appreciate the honesty, a lot of companies would blindly say that they are all good, but I like how you analyse each one for their specific uses
I was going to mention this
I love how they demonstrate the tiny scissors cutting ketchup packets XD
I like Jen's commentary the most. I totally get the fraying of thread issue and the denting of the paper. It's small details like this that I find useful ☺️🙌🏼
These are probably a little bit too mini for me to be honest haha! but I have a larger model of the Sun-Star Stickyle Scissors and I love it. Still compact enough to snugly fit in my pencil case but big enough for me to comfortably hold and cut stuff
Me too I keep them in my purse!
Same; and it's PINK!
Samee
I like them but they don’t cut as well as regular scissors
I like the stickyle specifically because it detaches from the strap, it would be unruly to try to cut something while the scissors were attached to your bag, etc.
Love how Josh jumps in there with his game show voice! Stephanie, a former boss at my Tribal office gave me a beaded handle letter opener knife, but I could use one for my EDC. Though it is illegal to carry the letter opening knife in Denmark in an EDC. Only downside is the plastic casings. I doubt our scissor sharpeners we have in Denmark would want to sharpen them when they dull out from cutting too many pieces paper.
The BeansCut scissors are so cute! I‘d want them as a letter opener, though. They seem too small for functional paper cutting.
I’ve got mini scissors from Kokuyo in my pencil case and they‘ve come in handy on the go so many times!
I like the bean! I use mini scissors all the time in my crochet / knitting and have several pairs stashed around with different projects.
I think I'd need something a bit bigger for my daily carry though as I think using something that small on paper would drive me nuts!
Looking forward to part 3. Thanks for another great video. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
I would get the Sticklye for my bag - thinking like Hermione Granger and for my desk the Beanscut - love opening letters - little things that make us happy :)
If the Sun-Star Mini scissors aren't sharp enough, there is a way to sharpen them. Use Tinfoil!! Just fold the tin foil in a layer of 3 or 4 and cut the tinfoil. Then they will become sharper 😁😉👍
Yes, I carry one around for emergencies. It's been very helpful when cutting open packs of dog & cat food I give the strays. Choose good quality ones so they cut well. Mine is from the Snoopy shop.
100% The first one lol. I've been wanting a small letter opener. I see these as a good thing to have on you for those random rare occasions. Like when you had to buy something last minute and need to cut the tag off or if your kid wants to open up their barbie doll in the car and you have to cut those annoying plastic things that keep them down on the box. Those random incidents like this lol
I have these mini folding stainless steel scissors (not sure if the brand) but they are the most versatile scissors ever. I think they are meant more as a toiletry item but they have stayed sharp for so long and work well for everything so they go with me everywhere.
Love Stephanie, Miriam, and Jen! I just ordered the Ohto Ceramic Letter Opener from JetPens this morning! If I had known about the Raymay, I probably would've picked that up instead - so versatile and cute! Or maybe I should just get one anyway, haha. Thanks for another great video!
I have that Ohto letter opener and it’s great. You can never have too many letter openers: one for work and one for home!
I carry a small Victorinox knife, the scissors are a bit bigger the blade opens envelopes fine the nail file is handy to have. The biggest problem being replacements after forgetting they in your pocket at courthouses and certain sports venues.
I've been using the Beanscut for about 3 months now and I keep it on my keychain so that it's always with me. I really need to get another one for my desk at home
Oh, i kind of love that Raymay Bean for the letter opener feature. For mini scissors I have a Raymay Pencut. Not the mini-est micro scissor but definitely compact.
What a fun video! I guess I'll put some of these in my wish list for my next order. I always carry Raymay scissors in my handbag. I cannot be without it.
Lol at Miriam looking around for another envelope!
I have a pair of "Plus Pen Style Compact Twiggy Scissors" (with cover) that I use EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
And they fit perfectly in a pen case without getting lost or making a weird lump.
As a nurse I bought tiny scissors to hang of my badge they’re so useful, omg
I love love mini stationary! Can you add more mini stuff? It’s so hard to find! Like mini pens and pencils, etc! If you had a mini-section and videos would watch all! Thanks so much, so entertaining!
You guys are so much fun to watch ❤
Honestly for functional purposes, I carry around either kiddy scissors with a cover (they’re surprisingly sharp, it’s basically scissors but with no point at the end) or one of the larger pen style scissors. I like cutting and making papercrafts, especially at school if I’m bored, so it’s functionality over form for me! Plus, as a stationary nerd we all know our pen case can fit some kid sized scissors!
Feels good having all those mini stationaries on my desk. :D
Interesting, informative and cute. I'm a fan of you three ladies (and the videographer(s)).
Why do I feel that Stephanie DOES have a large Rambo style knife on her desk as a letter opener. And what does she do with all that ketchup?
Your team is SUPERB!!
Nice content!!!! Love you jet pens
These all would be perfect to throw into my knitting project bag!
I'm not the demographic for this product but the video was very satisfying to watch
I have two pairs of the Sun-Star Stickyle scissors. One pair, which is the discontinued and sold out pink and orange ones, I use all the time in my room and they cut everything just fine. The other pair I have is the ones with the fluorine coated blades so they can cut tape without getting gummed up with adhesive and I keep those in my purse and let me tell you, unlike at 7:06 I’ve never had trouble cutting loose threads with them. Maybe it’s because mine aren’t the mini ones and have longer blades
These videos are so successful at entertaining me, letting me know a cool product exists, and making me want that product
Thank your your deeply scientific deep dive into adorable snippy snips
I do carry scissors with me. They are in a 2 and a half inch Swiss army knife.
I always have mini scissors on me... In a Victorinox Classic SD Swiss Army Knife. Their scissors are unbeatable.
raymay really makes some of the coolest stationary
These are cute but the smallest scissors I can comfortably use are about 5”. I do sometimes take sewing projects with me on the go and I’m not sure these would cut through fabric if I needed to, say, clip the curved seam on a doll dress piece so it lies flat.
These three are hilarious
I personally wish mini scissors like the Raymay Beanscut would make a comeback on the Jetpens site. I can't find these quirky lil things in my country (Malaysia), so I might make a purchase on JetPens if I happen upon windfall.
Last school year we did a craft project where each class would decorate their door about a woman from history, and my class did everything by hand, including info blurbs, so we had a lot of cutting, but we only had one pair of scissors in the classroom, so we ended up using my mini pen style scissors to carve massive portions of construction paper a whole lot.
stephanie's reaction is the best
Oooooo, that varies with me.
A pretty good set of tiny scissors are the ones on the Victorinox classic SD multitool
I would love a video of pen scissors like the raymay pen cut
I know they aren't mini, but I use spring loaded scissors by Fiskars, best scissors I've ever used in my life. Bar none.
Cool.
I had one mini scissors i bought from Kinokuniya Bookstore from long long time ago, around 2008. I forgot the brand, if i'm not mistaken it's from uni or kokuyo. I bought it because it cute and has yellow color, but i forgot where i keep it now.. really miss it and want to see it again 🥲
Honestly if I need scissors for small things I tend to get embroidery snips because they’re sharp and teeny
I want the Beanscut! Can't find!!! Neeeeeeeed
I use little 4 inch decoupage scissors every day. I don’t really like scissors that have a spring. I feel like your hand gets tired quickly.
those little scissors looks great for washii tape. or other little things.
I actually carry moustache scissors from the dollar store in all my planny pack/pencil case
Me just watching them and wishes to work there too 😂
Please tell us if they are TSA allowable? Thanks.
Jet pens needs a store in the UK. I love your products but sadly the shipping I can't justify
7:00 😂😂😂
I'll stick with my Victorianox edc pocket tool.
I think the mini scissors could be used for washi tape too.
Every time I've seen Jen is like watching an android struggling to show emotions 🤣 endearing in a way. Stephanie is her adorable self, and Miriam is just so lovely, too! We need more of these three ladies, JetPens!
Edit: Josh, too!
Sure you ordered snacks later so ketchup not wasted ☺️
i use the worde " its convinient" to buy it lol
I'm so sad that they didn't use the "Will it Cut?" section to make a reference/homage to "Will it Blend?"
Wonder if you fold the paper if the first would cut a whole sheet?
That's an interesting idea! That would probably work.
I have the longer blue one and the tiny green one. Which do I use the most? Tiny green wins every time! Better recheck it girls! Soy, I couldn’t keep up with the real names.
The bigger one
If you want to see the tiniest functional scissors you should check out the hand made ones by Grace Horn
At first these tiny scissors seemed silly, but I cannot open anything that is sealed, so I am always getting out my Swiss army knife to use those scissors. This little bean might be more accessible for me, like to open a packet of peanuts when I am out and about. So many things are sealed now, due to theft problems. Oh dear jet pens, why do you keep coming up with ways for me to spend?????
I love that there is a word for "the sound scissors make" is that a Korean word or Japanese?
It's a Japanese word!
We have one in English, too-"Snip" is an onomatopoeia!
Top 10 Rollerball pen in india please 🥺
The filming could improve. More close ups, please🙏
