Yes, that is a Stella . It was modified by Ruben Cox in Los Angeles at a store called old style guitar shop. He puts flat wound strings on them, and electric guitar, pick up, and a rubber bridge.
It's a Barclay, made by (likely) Harmony. I have the same guitar, a Christmas present to my dad in 1965. Jeff's is modified with a rubber bridge...and painted.
This is my all time fav Tweedy song and my list of songs I love by Wilco is long
I may be there with u on all points
Love how he can still make the old songs have passion after so many years. So good.
Uncle Tupelo is one of my favorites.
I enjoy how effortless yet complicated his playing that guitar is.
looks like a custom made or modded Stella
To someone who doesn’t play guitar I guess that seems complicated.
Not complicated

He’s a great acoustic guitars what is voice really takes some getting used to
What acoustic model is that?
the one with the deadest strings...
looks like a custom made or modded Stella. He might have had a rubber bridge to kill the highs ..Stays out of the way of the vocals.
@@seetomgo You can also install a rubber bridge (in case your strings are fresh)
