So fun fact about the Endsinger's final attack during the With Hearts Aligned phase, it's called Telomania.
Telo- means to complete or to end something, a final action.
Mania can refer to obsessions, delusions, or fantasies.
She literally hits you with Final Fantasy.

Nahuel was there for Seat of Sacrifice too right? That fight they didn't manage to get POV footage, but this more than makes up for it.
When I hear "Silence the song of Oblivion!" I can't help but think of an idyllic Tamriel countryside with the Oblivion town music and Zenos crashing headlong into it
It was a long time ago. Maybe back in Stormblood or early Shadowbringers. I left a comment saying something to the effect of "I can't wait until you reach Endwalker, look over your shoulder at the path you walked, and say 'holy shit, I never expected THIS to happen'."
The journey's been a blast. We who walked before are proud of those who walk after. Thanks for making this community happy, even from the bottom of despair.

I *always* get chills when I hear _'With Hearts Aligned'_ kick in. It's probably a very close second best needle drop in the game (the first being the _'Shadowbringers'_ needle drop when Ardbert hands you his axe).

After finishing this fight and the few quests remaining of the release MSQ back just after this had come out, I stepped away from FF for most of a year. I just...couldn't. This feels so complete, so finished. And after having been here since the original release of 1.0 back in 2010, it was beyond words how satisfying this conclusion was. I've since gone back to finish the patch content and am eagerly looking forward to Dawntrail, but it took months for everything to fade and for me to be mentally ready to continue the story.

@@cparle87 because the only way to survive the first oblivion (and pass the check) is to use tank lb3. I thought a dps started using it here, and don't know if you automatically get lb3 for the first oblivion.
@@Froggsroxx Yes, killing the add automatically fills your lb gauge to full. So you can use preferably melee lb3 to kill the add sooner, then immediately tank lb3 the oblivion.

One tiny detail I really like:
When Alphinaud stops the one planet from crashing onto Urianger, what does it visually resemble a lot?

I remember when i went through this with another streamer, we got EVERYONE to go grab their 89 AF gear and take off an accessory so it would much more like a run as it was at release, no one having a gear advantage. Was a chaotic mess, but dang was it satisfying, no need to hold back to let everything play out, all the dialogue and gimmicks got to play out
I mean, you could also just turn on minimum item level.

The fight with the Endsinger is what I like to call a "LIch King fight". Like the battle with the Lich King in WoW, you're faced with a hard fight. After a certain amount of HP is knocked off the boss (Lich King in WoW and Endsinger here), the boss up and kills the party (or appears to here). Then the second stage of fight happens which is much easier than the first stage where the players get to whale on the boss with impunity.
The difference here is that unlike the Lich King, the Endsinger can still fight during the post TPK stage.But the Endsinger's mechanics become so easy that she might as well be as completely helpless as the Lich King was. You'd have to be totally afk to die to Endsinger's mechanics in the "curbstomp the boss" phase.
She doesn't hit less hard. You get a progressive and significant buff from the Scion support. Chech your buffs in that phase.
@@thekaxmax she also oneshots you in that phase, i know from experience
@@thekaxmax Maybe. But her mechanics are far easier to dodge since you get plenty of ground marker warnings with plenty of reaction time while not worrying about the more esoteric stuff from phase 1 like dodging exploding planets or her dropping line aoes. IOW, you no longer have to watch the sky, just the ground.
@@thekaxmaxCheck her buffs too, she also gets her own damage buff! If I remember well she gets a stack each time she does the wing sweeps. Though it'd stake some really low DPS for that to become an issue
You get a damage up and vulnerability down buff. Whenever she flails she gets a damage up buff. It's a matter of who can kill who first.
Cant wait for them to want to dive right into Endsinger EX immediately after this finale

Well he makes a great entrance, then goes AFK the entire fight. Would've been cool if he had done anything because we already had a platform before he showed up.
Honestly, Zenos is just around to have a grand battle. He is doing that by being the platform the Warrior of Light and the Endsinger fly on in space.
@@iantaakalla8180 We didn't need him to be the platform, we were about to fight the Endsinger on a much larger platform when he showed up.
Would've been cool if he used his Shinryu icicle attacks to destroy half the heads so we had safe lanes to stand, knocked some planets away with his tail, or did anything in the fight aside from saying "Our hunt ends this day. There is no where you can flee where we can not follow" before going AFK.
That my big problem with Zenos in EW. In StB Zenos defeats us, twice, but in EW he just kind of hangs around.
@@Torlonus To be fair, she is flying away from that other platform at top speeds.
The reason we need him is because Endsinger won't stop running away and he is chasing.
That said I agree it would be cool if he did more.
@@nahuel3433 Except she wasn't run until he charged after her. We were about to fight her at her nest when he showed up.
If she said something like "Oh no you've reached my nest. Well no matter I can make a new one further beyond your reach" than yeah then at least Zenos would've been helping. But that's not what happened, she was fighting the Scions before we teleported them away and was charging up an attack to fight us alone when Zenos arrived.
In fact if Zenos hadn't shown up we'd still have been on Ultima Thule for the fight. So instead of just believing in us at the ship the second LB3 could've been Thancred showing up saving us with Gunmetal soul, as the Scion arrive. Having made their way back through the zone after being helped up at the ship.
Imagine, with a full party and the scions by our side we take a book out of Eldibus's book and our limit break bar expands to 4.
@@Torlonus We are in Ultima Thule the whole time technically, within her Ultimatum, that's how the scions can help us from afar with dynamis. So signs point to them not being able to. Otherwise they would at least be at the field of flowers.
Emotions dictate reality within this. It's how we saw several entire worlds despite the goop structure we go within being really small. So she could run forever and never leave her nest.
That said, yes, she stood her ground when she was BEATING us, but there is nothing saying she wouldn't start running if things get even just a bit ugly. In fact, that's what she did when Zenos showed up. It's not like she was trapped and Zenos untied her or something. She just showed running is her go to strat when pressed.
as cool as this moment was and as much i loved to see you love it, still hate zenos even more than shadowlands.
