Bonaparte's Retreat, after Lee Hammons (1883-1980) of Pocahontas County, West Virginia

Dwight Diller taught me to play the fiddle, and he held Lee Hammons's fiddling in the highest regard, above all others. Thankfully, Dwight recorded Lee fiddling and playing banjo in the late 1960s and early 1970s when Lee was almost 90 years old. This is my attempt at playing Lee's version of Bonaparte's Retreat.
