Grateful for the intell on the brand vs others. And the price point is spot on for the reliability.Every brand has to start somewhere.Absolutely purchasing one or two for my grandkids.Thank you again.
Definitely not from my experience. We've had this Kayo quad for a year and a half and it's been great. Had a kayo dirtbike also and it was an awesome bike for my boy to learn on.
I'm looking to buy one for my daughter. I saw they make a 110 and 125 though. I can't find any comparisons to decide. I think it's about $400-$500 difference.
One thing I would say is that these are fairly small when compared to bigger brands of the same motor size. The frame and overall size of the 125 is definitely smaller than a yamaha or polaris 110 even
We bought my daughter one a couple of years ago and this was the major complaint, the heat around the leg on the right side. It gets way too hot. She has a new honda 250x and it stays a lot cooler around your legs. Any update on if you fixed the heat problem?
I could only get it up to 26 mph but I also weight 180 pounds. I did a video of the top speed test: ua-cam.com/video/0ee_hmdGECo/v-deo.htmlsi=0XLDYEApjKHz2uD4
@@tommybmoto I appreciate the reply! Do you think it would be too big for a 5 year old? I've never seen one in person but my kid sat on my old trx90 and it was way too big for him to handle.
@BEASST my 6 year old rides it no problem. It's smaller for a 125 and very easy to ride. I haven't seen it side by side with a trx90 so it's hard to say for sure though. Hope this helps!
I bought my son one and it's doing great so far and I have no complaints. Good thing is they're sold at Dealerships, not at Wholesalers. A lot of wholesalers are shady. But I will say, if I did buy my kid another brand. It would of been a Tao Tao Cheetah 125cc. These are the only two Chinese bikes i'd buy. Only issue I have with the KAYO is the size. They make these like a mini ATV. They're a little smaller than the Tao Tao. Tao Tao wheelbase is 39", KAYO is 36" I'm also buying the 2020 Predator handle bars for mine. That model has higher handle bars so the kid can sit straighter up rather than being hunched over. I'll also be buying 2" wheel spacers from (Why Go Stock). The front bolt pattern are a 4bolt 88mm pattern and no one has them other than Why Go Stock. They fit the Tao Tao and the Kayo. The back bolt pattern is 4bolt 110mm, which is normal. www.whygostock.com/wheel-spacers-2-front-4x88mm-tao-kayo-fox-70-bull-predator-125-tao-tforce-cheetah-new-platinum/

I appreciate the feedback and glad I could help! I hope your grandkids enjoy them! I know my kids sure have enjoyed ours!
@@tommybmoto - how is the bike holding up?
@user-ul7hx4ob2b still holding up great! Still starts right up and no issues!
Absolutely not. 100% pure junk. I had better TaoTao & Coolster for half the price.

I got 1 for my grandson 3 yrs running strong. Yes I recommend this quad.
That's great! Pretty good value for the price! Mine is still going strong after almost a year and my boys ride it all the time.

@@tommybmoto I noticed that. I saw a sportsman 90 that looked much bigger than the kayo 125.
What’s the top speed on it
I think about 30 mph. I dont know for sure. I'll probably do a top speed video sometime soon.

Do you find the lower end of the motor gets incredibly hot? Dealership says it's normal but it doesn't seem normal to me
I haven't noticed that but since its an air cooled motor it makes sense.
Even the Yamaha and Hondas are air cooled as well so not a deal breaker yes motors get hot
@crustycritters6148 kayo is cheaper than yamaha/honda, specifically when your kid is going to outgrown it in a couple of years.

Does it have a throttle limiter?
Yes, it does. Although I've never need to use it. It's very easy for kids to drive.

Good deal, glad it's doing good so far. Yeah the sizes are a little goofy, but for the price, you can't beat em.
