You know... George of the Jungle had to watch out for those trees!🥴😵 I hope that the Rx is ok. Well you'll have a spare wing for the next Viper. Was not expecting a crash, the flight was going so well. They always seem to find the only threat out there. Thumbs up and best wishes, AirHammer out!!

Been-there-done-that age 64 oven flying damn near all my life and I seem to hit about everything I don't know if it's my eyes for depth perception but if and it's a nice flying plane I can't wait wait to buy one

Gary dang blasted light poles. When I blew up my Viper I used a hair dryer to heat up the foam then straightened the pieces with my hand. When the pieces cooled they stayed straight, then pins and Foam Tacked my way back in action. All the best to you GG. Jeff in LA USA
Great flyer, nice piloting. And far more epic crash than how my Viper nearly got totaled, when it rolled upside down during a bad hand launch, and cracked the fuselage on a few places. Luckily the foam allows repairs well, and mine is flying nice again. And I understand you were able to rebuild yours too, right?

I cannot believe you did that, you were flying it like an Ace!. I hope you can fly this model again or buy a replacement, because it was a fantastic flyer!! I'm sure you loved it prior to the mishap.

NOT the first time I have seen that happen. We had a parking lot near Google that had 2 huge light posts that could have been 100 feet tall each, at least 4 timesd as tall as those at your site. One plane hit near the top and the remains hung up there for over a year.
If you are gonna crash, do it dramatically. Happy flying!

If there's a stick or any kind obsicle near the plane will hit it. 🙂 I crashed my Flightline Corsair yesterday. That felt for a few hours.

Yeah, I really love these Viper Jets!
What a shame, I ordered one because it seems to handle crashes well, but surviving hitting a lamppost at high speed, is asking a bit to much. I heard you used the pre-set Spektrum settings for the Eflight Viper for this one, nice to know, You can modify this plane to have a rudder
I have flown this many times since this crash. Hold together will with hot glue. 😆

It was a rough crash for sure! If you haven't already watched it you should see my crash from Saturday with the new 90mm E-flite Viper.
@@IJustGotHere I saw and cringed, I am just learning to fly and am watching anything I can to help me fly better. I just got my nx6 today and my aero scout will be here this weekend. Flew with some guys at our club and I seemed to do well ---after 15 yrs of real flight simulator--lol
SORRY, mine went in too. Orex reciever brown out. I have gotten my moneys worth out of mine. Thinking of Retiring it and getting a new one.

Looks like the plane is a BLAST to fly. Supposing the downside to "light and inexpensive" is doesn't survive a crash well. Better to destroy a $150 plane than a $500 one.
You flew it so well, shame about the post jumping out on you like that. Get another one any enjoy it again. A lot of for £115. Ha ha very entertaining as well.👍👨✈️
You are not the only person to hit a light pole, I am guilty as well.
Ugh, yer just a lamp post magnet. Hope you can get it back together. Looked bad. At least you battery is not shorter than stock, like when I put my F15 in the ground. Lol

That's why you should never fly in a parking lot.I would never fly in a parking lot.Those light posts can really be in the way as you found out.Its not worth it just search for a wide open field to fly.

Probably just tired from working late and the light was fading fast and just that loss of Concentration for a second I think your mind didn't register the plane was heading stright at it by the time it did and the speed she was clocking at it was all over.
I've done this to a tree in broad daylight and not any where near that speed
I'll tell you what they sang to me Pick Yourself Up Dust Your Self Off And Start All Over Again........ don't twell on it get the old faithful Aroscout out and have a relaxing fly around boast your confidence again and get that blue angel up

Man Gary that lamppost just do not like you. I think you are such a good flyer but that lamp post just has some type of attraction for your airplanes 🤨🤔 I think I actually seen it move over right in front of the plane 🤔😡
