Loved Surfside as a teenager and in my twenties. Did get a real bad sunburn there once as fell asleep on the beach. Great place to cool off in the water during the summer. Haven't been there in years and they say it has changed. Thanks for showing around. Hi! Cody

You and Cody gotta wade the surf when it warms up this year. Really have to plan ahead and choose your days wisely so your not getting pounded by waves when your fishing. Chatterweight with two red beads and a croaker hook and mullet or croaker if they have it will kill the trout. Also Hookers bait shop on the right has better bait in my opinion and is where the real locals stop.
It's a great channel with lots of things to see.

An hour south of Galveston is in the Gulf? I’m lost guess I’ll google it looks like fun
Just take the scenic route from Galveston - Seawall Blvd from Galveston, go over the toll bridge ($2 each way) and stay on that road until you get to Surfside. It's called the Blue Water Hwy (CR 257) in Brazoria County. My favorite drive as it winds along the coastline.
