I never had one as a kid, but had friends that did. We used to jump it off his roof! Just got one yesterday for Christmas and my son and I had fun making videos of jumping it off my front porch. Every run left us both in bouts of laughter, as the helmet flys off all the time and Evel has crashes that are both funny as hell and rival some of the crashes I used to see in real life as a kid in the 70s. I'm 56 and having as much fun as a kid with this thing. By far my favorite Christmas present.

Thanks for the video lol was funny as well. I never had one when I was a kid and I’m 50z just got one few days ago. Wow!! 1973 this toy was ahead of it’s time. I’m having a blast . It takes time and practice to get some good jumps. I’m at about 10’ or so .
I usually get rid of things I review shortly afterwards. This is one of the few toys I kept!
I ordered mine last week. I can’t wait for it to get here!

I loved this toy in the '70s. I brought the action figure with me to a vacation in Monterey. I threw it in the ocean about 10 times and it came surfing back to me. On the 11th time. It never came back. I was heartbroken, and I still am to this day. I saw that they are making these again and I ordered one. I hope it is as cool as the '70s one
They bought the original molds so it should be no different.
The feet slip under the clear plastic hook. The posts were never meant to stick in his shoes! His shoes aren't supposed to have holes at all!

The eyes on yours look different. I still have the one i got in 76 and i bought a new one so i wouldn't ruin my old one, cause im 52 and still playing with it lol and i got out my air jammer bug scrammer that was still in the box, i had to put everything up when i was done playing with it as a kid, but it worked out cause i still have every toy i had as a kid

That appears to be a thing at least with this reissue unfortunately. Some tape and foam got it straight though.
Where did you get the bicycle helmet?
Five Below. Just a cheap helmet. I made the designs with tape.

@@Barbariandisks I agree. I would have much preferred the limbs to be articulated with actual joints. But the overall worst part about the entire toy in my opinion is the flimsy build on the Energizer
