There is also something similar to sasaki’s NP which is okita’s which makes a event saturation phenomena which bypass all limitions horizons and concepts meaning you can’t block it Sasaki’s version is you cannot dodge Okita’s version is you cannot block And multiple servants weaker then artoria saber can tank the NP Which is also another thing she can tank a NP that can break the limiting horizon even if it’s concept’s to hit the target but servants can tank it so their body should not be there as the NP exceeds concept’s so it’s hitting on a level beyond the limits of concepts
the reason that Saber survived is because Sasaki's sword is literally a normal steel long katana, which got bent from their previous encounter. if he has a better sword she would literally die or she would get send back to avalon
Thing is that Nero,Tamamo,Nameless and Gilgamesh were able to beat BB in extra CCC because of mythological mystic codes that was bypasing the consept of prymortial mother that BB possessed,but they do not have them in Extella so defeating them does NOT make Saber stronger than BB.Also despite Sasaki's attack being beyong consept of speed and even time (aka second true magic) in the end it's still just a slash of a sword and not even a nobble phantasm:it has a very singular way of use and as we found out if the sword itself damaged the effectivness of this teqnique is dropping..........in the first place saber had so much trouble with him because of a limited space between them.......
Yes, the scaling is whack. Usually always is too. But in this case it doesn't change the fact that she's stronger than all those characters mentioned without question, barring Gilgamesh & BB. Against Gilgamesh, she's pretty evenly matched. BB? Let's be real, had she been in their situation, she'd have likely won with their very same bullshit. Is what it is.

I may have already said this but worst thing about fate is hyping up these servant like artoria or any other op servant and them just making them job in the worst ways possible the fact that artoria got her ass beat by a dude with magic enchancted fists will forever stain her as a character. Also that fate zero king court scene and Gil just wreacking her. sure she wasnt on full power with shirou as her master but still not a good look, then again later she did defeat gil when she got her sheath back. im convinced fate was never meant to get this big because now we scale cute visual novel romance vn into all these things.
Thing about the banquet scene is, Ufotable went out of their way to not add relevant scenes, which caused her to look more shaken than she actually was. Those words only broke her once she saw Lancelot's madness. Otherwise her beliefs were steadfast, and she confirms as such in the LN. She even commands Gilgamesh to leave like a chad, and he complies. Not to mention later on, Iskandar directly admits he was wrong about her as a king, switching his opinion to blaming the people around her instead. I do agree that from a casual, first glance viewer perspective, those scenes such as her underestimating a magical enhanced Master, really do stain her reputation. But her feats aren't to be ignored neither, even if all the casual fans will never hear about it. At her peak she consistently matches Gilgamesh, has diffed a lot of big names such as Tamamo, Charlemagne, Cú Chulainn, Lü Bu, Medusa, Emiya, Iskandar, Mordred, Heracles, Sasaki Kojirou (inside his own niche), etc. Often times in a 1v2 scenario as well. She can also one shot world destroyers & Godslayers in the form of stage three Velbers. So she does have the juice to back up her hype.
hey, sorry to bring this back up 9 months later, but I just wanted to prefece some misconceptions that appear in this comment. 1) Shirouh being saber's master is a massive power down. Having a bad master can absolutely cripple a servant's power, it's stated several times in stay night. The moment Rin took over for Shirouh, or when she got ahold of avalon, or when she was being fed mana by the grail, she started to wreck shop, blasing apart castles like it was nothing, contesting a weapon that can tear apart reality, and vaporising the grail. Having Shirouh as your sole source of mana is like being stranded in the desert with a paper cup of water as your only source of fluids. 2) The dude had incredibly magically enhanced fists. I'm only slightly joking with that comment. His fists weren't enhanced by a random mage, they were enhanced by a servant from the age of gods. She doesn't use the typical magecraft, she uses actual magic. Her spells work at the conceptual level and we've seen in other works that she can enhance people to near godlike levels. 3) As for it being a cute visual novel romance vn, other than the word cute, yeah it's accurate, it sprouted more than one could expect. But it's not like most of these feats are from outside of the vn, it's just that feats from outside fo the vn seem tom double down on alot of what could be otherwise seen as hyperbole, metaphors, and overhype.
