Hi! Can i ask you a question? I just boiled pork belly. Right about 10 min, my pressure cooker sounded to alert me to let the pressure out. But my meat aren't as tender as i like it to be. Any advice on how i can achieve that, without having to turn off the stove? I feel like there might a way?? And maybe you can help. Thank in advance 🙏
Greetings, I have the same product, very beautiful, but unfortunately I lost the entire handle, followed by the cover and the skin. Please advise me where to get them and what their price is, including shipping to Jordan...... Greetings.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢😢
Although excellent description , the steel ball in the rubber housing is to vent the dry air out, automatically closing when steam is in contact with the housing, and so allows cooking to be done in a totally steam environment.
I was given a wmf pressure cooker as a gift fr Singapore. We tried to use it bit the round ring did not go up and the meat did not tenderize even if we tried for the second time still it did not work. Could it be factory defect?
You can do what you want but this pressure pot is just leaking. It hisses softly or it drips where you can see the rubber seal. Since WMF is always twice as expensive as other brands this is rather annoying. Of course, you can't return the pot once you've used it.
OK, how old is your pot? Is it brand new? Another tip, is to heat it up quick. You want as much heat as possible, and then turn it down when the pressure is there. It only leaks when there is not enough pressure.
@@mygiguser it is brand new and since it is twice the price of other pressure cookers it is kind of frustrating. I thought of having bought a quality product but it is not even 100% steel but mainly aluminum. Only the bottom is steel.
For the one i used in the video it is WMF part 07.9210.9510 you can Google that to find the spare part. I measured my valve and the ball is 5.96 mm in diameter.
yes I hear a hissing sound from the valve, in the instant pot I don't hear anything. In the instant pot once the pressure is reached the valve close and there is no air escaping from the pot. So I am not sure if my WMF is faulty, I just bought it a couple of days before. I can see the orange ring, but there is always some steam escaping from the valve, the valve is not completely closed as in the instant pot
No, it needs to be closed. Either the gaskets are dry and don't seal right, or it is put together wrong. There is a little steel ball in the valve. That has to be very clean, and also floating around lose in the rubber housing. If it is stuck in the open position it won't close.
Thank you. I've just bought one of these and I used it for the first time today. I love it. So easy to use, and safe. Thanks again.
At last someone described how to use this pressure cooker, thanks
Thank you soooo much!! I watched before i use it!! Very helpful 👌☺🙂👏😀

Brilliant vid thanks so much.
Brilliant thanks I was given the same brand cooker from a friend I use on a wood burning stove Irish stew in 20 minutes fantastic!
Aaah, your comment made me hungry ;-)
Thank you very much sir!
Is it common that it makes a loud sound when the pressure comes up?
no
Kinda shocked to see that this cooker is now $500 on Amazon. I got it 20 years ago for way less... It still works!

Connie Nartates you have a vacuum leak. Assembled wrong, or a part missing? Does your s look the same as my model?
My WMF super 3 does not have that valve at all

Hi great video question I have lost the ball from the safety valve do you know what diameter it is so I can get another?

Great thanks mate !!
thanks for the video, mine is not silent, is it normal?I am used to instant pot that is really silent
what do you mean by noise? as long as the valve is open you may hear a hissing sound from air escaping the valve?
yes I hear a hissing sound from the valve, in the instant pot I don't hear anything. In the instant pot once the pressure is reached the valve close and there is no air escaping from the pot. I see, I am going to buy another valve, hopefully this time they will send me a good one! Thanks for helping me!
I thought it would be a good idea to make another video with the sounds and whistles ... ua-cam.com/video/V7O3g6jpWQg/v-deo.html
